It's far worse when fighters just stare at each other/avoid fighting then when one takes the other down and controls like Chimaev vs. DDP i.e.

Valentina vs. Grasso 3
Valentina vs. Zhang

Your list includes plenty of boring fights, but not most of the worst offenders like:

Severn vs. Shamrock
Rose vs. Carla 2
Izzy vs. Yoel
Ngannou vs. Lewis
Starnes vs. Quarry

From your list Anderson vs. Leites is by far the worst and belongs with the ones I listed above as the "worst offenders."

No Khabib only let his hands in round 3 when he was sure conor was gassed from defending subs and could barely throw a punch. More likely he was resting/resetting himself knowing the threat was gone and immeadately shot r4 for en ruote to the finish.

Imavov started training again mid December after suffering a foot injury in the Borralho fight. The UFC and Chimaev both wanted RDR for a hyped title fight because of that, but then he lost to Allen...

With RDR out of the picture, they didn't want anyone else but Imavov, sadly. Khamzat has been keen on taking a super fight in the meantime, but what can he do?
Dana is going cold on fighters wanting to try higher weightclasses and wants the MW belt to be the focus now.

ah yes, tha classic "I the champion really really want to stay active but the UFC is pretending me and prefers it if I sit out 10 month" curse, which only seems to get fighters from this special region. UFC really hates active champs and we see how they treat Poatan and Merab for staying active.

That was one of the most boring title fights in a very long time & Khamzat certainly lived up to the name "Borzzz" in that fight however Dricus actually won this fight under PRIDE rules

Actually made the attempt to finish the fight in the 5th with the RNC while Khamzat just held him for whole fight

Under PRIDE rules Dricus would be deemed the winner just for attempting to finish the fight while Khamzat would have been issued yellow cards and possibly DQ due to just stalling & holding Dricus on ground and not trying to finish the fight

Only "offense" that Khamzat did was just holding Dricus on the ground and some "brutal" knees to the thigh of Dricus

Under the pussified UFC rules though, Khamzat won though

Even the crowd was booing all that hugging and cheered when Dricus locked in the RNC which officially was the only sub attempt according the UFC stats

Khamzat fans who are defending this hugfest better keep up that same energy when other fighters in the UFC do this

Under Pride rules Chimaev would knee the hell out of Dricus head on side control.

Yeah it’s the best way to win a fight without actually having to beat the guy up-definitely demoralized him and made him feel helpless, but also the least violent way to win an MMA fight-and violence is the main draw and reason the sport exists, we SHOULD bitch about it. There isn’t one highlight in the whole fight, and he won the fight by avoiding any fighting and instead literally holding him on the ground. The fact that our sport allows this is crazy-and their should be some type of stalling or holding rule because it’s not a forward advance and doesn’t work towards a finish.

Dricus came to fight-and did not have an answer to Khamzats relentless ground and downed. Since Dricus practiced fighting his whole camp-he had no way of stopping Khamzats anti-violence holding campaign. Dricus said he was prepared to die or kill, Dricus came to fight and Khamzats came to not. How are you supposed to fight a guy that won’t? This was anti fighting and the people who defend this style are literal sport killers and the antithesis of MMA. I could understand using antifighting to hold a guy on the street until the cops come-but if a guy stole my girlfriend and killed my family this would NOT be the way I’d fight him. Oh you held the guy who killed your family on the ground for 25 minutes? Do you feel any better? Probably not. This sport is about hurting people and this is NOT that.

Khamzats handing out scraped knees and mat burn on dudes backs, but that’s basically all he’s doing.

He did well to limit damage, though, and turtle-hide his unsubmittable neck.

Team Dricus were waiting for the NPC-narrative of Khamzat dying from exhaustion to turn into reality and take over from there.

Its soon gonna be 6 months till Khamzat last fought and unless i missed sth, he doesnt even have a fight scheduled. There should be a rule that champs have to defend AT LEAST within 6 months (every 4 months should be the standard) or get stripped.

And unless you have a fight scheduled, you´re not allowed to tweet anything. Sick of these guys just keeping their name on the news online but never fighting anyone...

I was a big fan of his at the beginning, but now i hope Dana just strips and cuts him to set an example to those getting a belt and then making money online thx to it and never fighting again. Would´ve rather have Dricus as the champ then.
