Muslims view dogs as unclean, because that was Mohammed's view or something like that. Though, he did try to emphasize kindness to animals.

Conversely, he had a very positive attitude and affection towards cats. I agree with Mo on both these subjects.

as long as you keep your house clean, not eating from the same plate as you eat from. Cross contamination, dog is to kept outside the house, in the dog house not in the bedroom and stuff.

Getting a dog just cause its the fade.
Having multiple dogs for reason besides liking them, or becoming like the old lady with 10s of cats for no reason, house smelling bad.
Being clean is a very big part of Islam, so if you have dogs, and they make your house, clothes, living space unclean, then you are not allowed.
Since Muslims pray 5 times a day, and you can't pray if you are unclean, or your clothes, or your environment.

Never said you didn't, but Islam made it clear, mistreating animals will land you in hell. The prophet told a man you will rewarded for good conduct towards the animals you keep, and he asked will we be graced by God because we are good towards are animals, and the prophet said, for any good deed to any living creature God rewards you.

Never said dogs are bad, just saying, if you see a Muslim with a dog, and they are not following the standards, know that person will likely be breaking more oaths that they took. Belal is like Ali, and DJ Khalid, Arab and very much hypocritical.
