Chiesa is done

tf did chiesa ever do to rub people the wrong way?
 
He probably makes as much doing the pre-fight hobnobbing with Olivi and DC, eating whatever he wants and not getting punched that he's just happy he has a plan B. A lot of these fighters clearly don't.

He's done very well at WW, it really fits his long frame much more than LW did (and he was a decent LW). His only losses at WW are to Luque (in a fight he was winning until he got caught) and Sean Brady (who he nearly finished at the end of the fight, with Brady winning through boring blanketing, and Chiesa likely would have won in a 5 rounder).

I think he's still a very tough fight for a lot of WW's. Would not surprise me if he beat some of the top 5.

Yep agree , years back I thought him too one dimensional to make an impact in his weight class at the top and look were it got him. He evolved as a fighter a lot in the last years. Great career.

Agreed. It's a shame that he gets put down because of his "loss" against FKL. He didn't even tap to FKL, the ref just kinda stopped it for no reason
 
No wonder Usman was so willing to fight him as his next title defense
