What in the Cody durden ???? Reported
How about I report you for fighter bashing?
What in the Cody durden ???? Reported
Yep. In a row. After being inches from a title shot and on the best run of his career. Now he gets taken down and says “oh geez they were right you are strong haha!” Then helps his man up after the bell. Even Brady was like ummm? After the fight he says he wishes he got the W but he had fun??? He’s done.
Reminded me of Anthony Joshua.Chiesa should probably retire at this point, I think he’s lost the fire. He was losing the entire fight and maintained this buddy buddy attitude. Laughing, joking around. What the hell? I know Chiesa has always suffered with performance nerves but this performance last night was just bizarre. He was happy to be there, not looking to reclaim his contendership. Way too at peace with losing. This was a guy that was so upset losing to Masvidal, Luque, etc. that he ran from the decision he wanted the win so bad. Last night he couldn’t care less
This isnt boxing
Also that could have been very different had it been 5 rounds
Exactly.Dude just got paid to grapple with someone and barely get hit, whilst he nearly finished the guy. He can go back to the drawing board and I think he wins the rematch if they get to meet again. Not great to lose, but it's not a career ender.
Kevin Lee took his soul

Okay, but so what? Nobody is saying Chiesa won the fight.??? But he knew ahead of time it was 3

His UFC career earnings are estimated at nearly one and half million, he's doing alright.Retiring now would be dumb.
Yes, he probably will never be a champion but most of us knew that already.
The fact remains that he makes 80k show/win. And fight multiple times a year. So his annual salary is somewhere between 160k-480k yearly plus bonuses and reebok money. (Yes, I know UFC should be paying him more but sadly this is the reality we live in)
If he retires where is going to give a job that pays him that much??? He should stay and try to stack up as much money as possibly can.
