Attention whore.

This. shes only doing this as a "publicity stunt" so she can get nominated for some shit in the yearbook at the end of the year...."most likely to change the world" or some shit.

Heartwarming. What a kind thing to do. Props to this girl...

haha. Yeah, the critical thinking side of my brain is sounding the bullshit alarm for sure... But I just can't help to ignore it over the small chance that this was done entirely out of the kindness of her heart. I don't know, Buddy... That kids reaction was just too awesome. Either way, she made his whole year.

That's a sweet girl, however that kid needs some game. You don't jump up and down like you just won the damn lottery.

He should have said: I might be busy that day... let me get back to you.

Or something along those lines.

It's in the same category of when people upload videos of themselves faking that they want to commit suicide, having people try to stop them and tell them why they should live and then at the end saying there are still good people in the world etc.

We know there are still good people in the world. You're just doing it for likes and publicity asshole. Who fakes wanting to commit suicide for a social experiment? Idiots.

She has to go all the way to give him the authentic experience.

Yeah maybe I'm just cynical or maybe it's because I sort of "came of age"
Back before social media and shit like that but when I see videos of this stuff it always makes me think people just do it for the camera. I suppose it's possible that it's real and that this sort of thing happened back before social media existed and now we just see it all because of Facebook, we chat, Twitter and all that shit but I am a bit cynical.

She should let him round the bases, people would freak out but that would probably be the nicest thing anyone has ever done for that kid.

I wish I could see acts like this in a good light, but all I see is attention whores who know it will be posted on social media or youtube. Like that dude that worked or volunteered at an animal shelter sat in one the cages of a dog that wasn't coping with the environment well. It sounds nice, but the video says "I know this will go viral" to me.

If she's really trying to do something nice, good for her.
Regardless of why you think she did it, this can have a positive impact on this kid it will get other kids thinking about doing the same thing.

This is actually really awesome. I work with a high functioning autistic and usually everyone treats him like shit at work. Mostly they don't take him seriously and you can tell it bothers him at times. I befriended him and now me and a couple of friends get together and play StarCraft 2 with him on our laptops. Hes a cool guy and very funny. When we play video games he'll usually pick a character from the franchise and act like him during the entire play sessions. He quite good at it too. I've told him on many occasions he should have pursed a career in acting due to his uncanny ability to remember whole scene and lines from movies and act them out amazingly.

Autism is truly special and its unfortunate there is a lack of understanding for it.

My son is high functioning autistic and at his school they didn't know crap about autism. We ended up setting up IEP programs for him and resource room. One day autism will be figured out.

Yup. We should find her facebook and pressure her to put out. If she declines we should shame her.

i think about 90% of these videos are made to be viral videos and nothing more. $20 says she doesn't even go with him and pulls a Mean Girls type move and tells him the day before "Do you actually think I would go to the prom with YOU?" and then she goes with a football player

Let's be honest here. We all know the deal. He is an easy way to her brownie points.. Kid is obv gonna put her on a pedestal. Ya think she honestly likes him that way..? Perhaps, but I think he's gonna be loving hetrwhile she's not interested in him.

Reminds me of Jennifer Lawrence and her "best friend":

It's weird, because, Yeah, she did a good thing. But with what intentions? Like other people posted. Having camera's there etc makes me doubt her right away. It's a Shane really..

Makes me wonder if my reaction would've been the same 10 years ago (before YouTube and fb etc)..

Do you think his other hand is wrapped around one of her butt cheeks?
