Media Chase Hooper is a black belt now.

Yea but anything below age 15-16 is garbage training for the most part.

not in BJJ.
A lot of times they train with the regulars, they just cant get belted the same way.
My former gym let them train and roll with the regulars from 12-13.

At my dojo, the kids train together and never spar, only going through certain techniques and since they have little discipline and their parents pay, the sensei never challenges them.

Minors are only allowed to join the adult class when they've passed several tests to prove their skill and toughness. One such test involves the kid being struck in the midsection by an adult male 10 times. If they wince or cry they fail the test. This may seem cruel but it is to protect them from further punishment and to maintain the skill level and integrity of the adult class.

As you can see, there is a real difference between kids classes and the adult section. I highly doubt Chase has a legit bb for that reason.

so you compare what ever stand up you do to bjj and and draw a conclusion...
there are no strikes in bjj for one...

I know, I am a BB in shotoken shaolin karaze, but I consider jiue jitzu to be a true martial art.

I believe the real JJ dojos also act in similar ways to protect the integrity of their adult class. It is a farce for children to be included in the adult classes, and most honorable dojos limit them from attending these classes.

you misspelled Shotokan, karate and Jiu jitsu
I am sorry we are done here...

I cant bother with some one who claims to be a black belt in a martial art he cant even spell...

Heh, ok then, come to my dojo and spar. I'll make quick work of you most likely, as I know you've never trained the intricacies of the Yuan Kepa style.

Start by learning to spell the name of the martial art you claim to train, so you don't look like a dumb ass.

and lol at calling out people, I accept your surrender

It's not heart that he's missing. His natural athleticism ranks at CM punk level.

Agreed. But I think with a proper strength and conditioning program he could for sure improve upon what little base he has.

At 6ft and 145lbs he's weak as a kitten. The kid actually has a decent sized frame and could easily put on 20lbs of good weight and probably find his way to a solid journeyman career at 155. Staying at FW is a huge detriment to his potential. He didn't even have the upper body strength to pull guard against Bruce Leroy.

The best one generally are...

Didn’t BJ go from un-belted to black belt in 3 years? Different strokes for different folks I guess, cooper would choke me out very very fast so I can’t say shit.

Yea but the BIG difference there is BJ went to Brazil with that fresh black belt and won worlds, against the best black belts. Thats about as legit as you can get period. Chase isnt winning that type shit ever.

This seems fishy. I remember being in a BJJ facility and your belt ranking started at 16. Anything before that was just child belts. You needed 2 years to become a blue belt, another 2 for a purple and then within the next 3-5 years you get your black belt.
You don’t need to wait 2 years for your blue belt once you turned 16 if you started when you were 8....
