Excellent. Let's debate it.
Social safety nets—protecting the poor and downtrodden. Democrats are all for them. Republicans continually seek to tear them down. WWJD? Vote Blue.
“I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink… Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these, you did it to me.”
—Matthew 25:35, 40
Immigration—welcoming, and including the outsider, instead of shunning and excluding them. Democrats are for immigration. Republicans continually seek to limit it, and are in the process of deporting thousands upon thousands of innocent migrants, and even sending many of them to foreign lands and prisons. WWJD? Vote Blue.
“I was a stranger and you welcomed me… Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these, you did it to me.”
—Matthew 25:35, 40
Civil rights for minorities and LGBTQ—protecting the socially stigmatized. Democrats heavily support minority and LGBTQ rights. Republicans continually seek to limit and further oppress them. WWJD? Vote Blue.
“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
—Mark 12:31
Taxation—Creating a more equal society in which more people can enjoy the fruits of our economy, instead of the vast majority suffering while the extreme few hoard vast amounts of wealth. Democrats support a progressive tax plan. Republicans oppose it. WWJD? Vote Blue.
“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
—Mark 10:25
