Who knows, maybe I'm wrong and in a few years this day of remembrance will be more of a big deal than I predict
It won't be huge like memorial day, but neither is Harvey Milk Day.

So? Pearl Harbor was a national tragedy and an attack on the nation as a whole, Kirk's killing was tragic but it's three story of political agitator killed by a nutjob, idk that it had anywhere near the national impact of a Pearl Harbor.
You think Kirk's ideas will live forever? I think you guys have a bit of a distorted view of his impact. He'll live on a few years as a martyr for Christian nationalists and as a meme in the culture wars but I don't think he'll be remembered even a decade of two from now much less forever.
@PainIsLIfe we all know how he felt about women and especially black women so let's not pretend otherwise. You can argue till the cows come home but we know the person he was...and this is the last thing I will argue with you defending a racist sexist bigot.
Cost of living is up, EPA standards are down, inflation, unemployment rates, tarrifs raising the price of imports…
Lol, so literally nothing at all about Christians, and a continuation of referring to Christians as "terrorists" and "Christian nationalists" and the FBI spying on churches, trying to mutilate kids' genitals and putting boys in girls sports and locker rooms, mass abortions and setting up abortion and vasectomy tents at their convention. Are "brown people" an economic group according to you? You seem to have trouble going 1 post without mentioning "brown people" as if they are, and if dem candidates don't want anyone to mention illegals trannies, maybe they shouldn't make that a focal point of their campaings and policy records.Christians aren't some monolithic economic group. When some are unemployed and haven't a dollar to their name, and others are multi-billionaire CEOs, how are you going to say one way or another if "they" voted in their best interest?
Exactly. You can't. From an economic perspective, all you can do is look at the whole. Since the majority of Christians are lower / middle class, and predominantly rural, you can ask whether or not Trump has helped that particular demographic.
So has he? Trump's tariffs fucked farmers over so bad they need a government bailout. Overall profitability is also down significantly from Biden's term, and bankruptcies are up.

Only Half of U.S. Farmers to Be Profitable in 2025, Ag Lenders Say
According to a new survey of agricultural lenders, only about half of U.S. farmers are expected to turn a profit in 2025 as high input costs, soft commodity prices, and rising debt weigh heavily on the sector.www.agriculture.com

Farmers Urgently Need Economic Assistance
Farmers and ranchers are facing severe financial stress as rising input costs, decliningg crop prices and trade uncertainty drive negative margins.www.fb.org
How about jobs? Layoffs are the highest they've been since COVID. Healthcare costs? Expected to skyrocket next year. Student loan forgiveness? He's going to start garnishing their wages next year. Cost of housing and groceries? Still at or near record highs.
So uh yeah, maybe it would be easier if you told me how Trump has helped them? And try not to mention trannies and brown people.
Now if you want to talk about whether or not Trump's platform is in the best interest of Christians from a religious perspective? That's fair game, and I'd love to debate you on that. I submit that Kamala's platform is far more "Christian" than Trump's, which focuses mainly on fucking over the environment, minorities, and poor people, and helping big business and the super wealthy.
What's your take?
Remind me again who claimed it was a replica of the tent he was murdered in?
Think about for a second; if they wanted to replicate that day then the pictures inside would be of him wearing the white freedom shirt. But that isnt what either of the pictures are.
Keep sucking on the misinformation teat of left wing media.
What’s wrong with vasectomies?Lol, so literally nothing at all about Christians, and a continuation of referring to Christians as "terrorists" and "Christian nationalists" and the FBI spying on churches, trying to mutilate kids' genitals and putting boys in girls sports and locker rooms, mass abortions and setting up abortion and vasectomy tents at their convention. You submit that without even a vague attempt to back it up other than "orange man bad"? Inflation is at 2.7 and GDP growth is at 4.2 last quarter, and was 3.8 the quarter before that. Wages have risen faster than inflation under Trump, both terms, while inflation rose faster than wages under the Biden/Harris regime, and they are the ones who made "housing and groceries at or near record highs", as Biden's term had the worst inflation since Jimmy Carer, and
OMG, he's not going to tax the shit out of everyone to pass out to private insurance companies and universities, or Harris' absolutely retarded plan to print money
This is nonsensical. Memorial sites dont have bordered images of the victims with a fixated ring light and vantage point for attendees to take selfies with.

You mean a picture of Kirk in a suit and one with him on a campus (not the one he was killed at).
You guys calling it a recreation of his murder tent is akin to calling a Floyd mural a shrine to drug addicts.
Inability to see the differences with how mourners are reacting between the two is on you.
As opposed to walking out to pyrotechnic explosions and calling yourself a christian while you try and sell merch?
You do realize that the democratic party is not in charge of every street mural in the nation right? Like, no party got together and agreed to pay a lot of money for this. Some guy just did it. Turning TransUSA on the other hand......
Look, it's clear that the lie you want to tell yourself about Charlie Kirk's character, isn't sticking with anyone who actually listened to them. So if you are determined to martyr him, you'd be better served arguing that he was a christian worth remembering and not just crying about George Floyd.
And I know telling a republican to not bring up George Floyd when losing an argument is a difficult thing, but just try.
He told women to submit their husband. Lol. Then he said blacks are hunting whites. Come on man, im not spiking the football but he was a piece of shit grifter. It's sad he's dead but he wasn't a good dude. Protest lax gun laws. The floyd people were mainly protesting police brutality.I'll take that as an admission that you don't know of anything sexist he said.
Are we talking about the tent or Kirk's widow? I know you love to move the goalposts, but damn thats a stretch.
I dont cry about Floyd murals and statues. Just pointing out the absurdity of trashing an innocent man and the peoplr mourning him after fawning over a lowlife druggy felon.

Says the guy who keeps bringing up George Floyd.
Except neither are true. People aren't trashing Charlie Kirk, they're pointing out some of the shitty things he said while you guys claim he was sent by christ. You can't rebut anything so you engage in whataboutism.
And people didn't lionize Floyd. Everyone here has pointed out his flaws. None of that excuses his murder, which is something we're still waiting for the chirstians in the room to figure out.
But good luck in strawmanning your way through this.
"Reject feminism, submit to your husband"Just say you dont understand Chritianity or what Kirk was talking about in context:
21Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
22Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.
23For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
24Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
25Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.
It isnt a 1 sided submission.

lol @ "your side"Yeah. Your side made the drugged out felon appear with angel wings and pretended the guy trying to change minds with simple words was evil. Then you took a simple tent and lied about it, calling it a replica of his murder spot.
You guys really need help. And thats on you.
