My old man Passed away in 2015 I got a tat of him on my chest. But I got a pic of him redrawn as Old Man OAk/ The Green Man. Looks great, I am not a fan of his tats tho.

I fuck with Olives but why can't he collect funko pops instead? He can funko pop his family instead.
 
Art isn't bad, but it's a bad idea to get portraits of real people in black/gray, makes everyone look wrinklier instead of enhancing their good traits.
It can look good for famous portraits of fictional/historical people, but IMHO it's the worst way to get a loved one' tattoo.

The first pic's angle always reminds me of

I have a few tattoos of various styles, and I love them all - no ragrets, but portraits scare me; they're very expensive, and have the potential of coming out looking bad even with a really skilled tattoo artist.
But good for Charles if it makes him happy, as long as you the wearer, smile when you look at it, then it's a good tattoo IMO
