@Frode Falch go watch me do a round on the bag. Thread hijack. You asked to see it. It's not a proper set up, but I'm getting in shape. More cardio less heavy weights.
 
Are we ok now mate? What if I told you I used to jump off of 100 feet train tracks into a bayou? Would that be fabrication without video proof as well? Would you like me to create a reality tv show like hogan knows best and video document my entire day and training and working my job? Would you like me to create a Time Machine an go back in time so that I can video proof every sparring session in gyms and in my apartment that I ever had? I do have video of me playing in basketball games in college gyms during tournaments if you'd like to watch. There's a short article on the internet about my game in 2003 in Houston when I was MVP of the all star game for the Houston area. Ive got about 50 newspaper clippings of games and awards if you'd like me to post them. I shot a 15 class buck my second deer ever and ive never missed a deer with a .243 Winchester. Ive got all my racks in my garage if you'd like me to post them. My pop chased a guy off of a ship in the middle of the battle of midway with a fire ax. I dont have video proof but I have a tape somewhere documenting every day on the ship. I recently won the Las Vegas open MSLB tournament with the Utah blues and there is an article on the MSLB page about it. I pitched the opening game of the 2021 roy hobbs tournament and won and in that same tournament I got a hit with a broken ankle again RUSSSTAR. There was an MMA striking coach playing in that tournament as well big guy he played first base. My own ex teammate tried to kill me over a 5 dollar bet after beating him in NBA 2k in 2005 that same teammate that my dad coach also pointed a pistol at me in another incident. I have personal training certification plaques hanging in my room from westside, ISSA and NASM. Do you even believe that?

Bro relax it´s not that deep. So what if you disagreed with me and Max about skills vs Athleticism, you got the right to your own opinion. I mean the other stuff is, I don´t know. Don´t take it to heart. Me you Max are just 3 posters out of thousands. Don´t feel disrespected. If I went overboard with some jokes I apologize to you right here right now. I didn´t think you were really bothered. It´s all good, it´s a sunny day. Let´s be done with it and onto other topics. Max has a bit of a hobby to nitpick things we say, he did it to me too, to Hama obviously. It´s not that deep. He is 1 person on here. It´s just his style of communication. In the end we all don´t need to prove anything on the internet. He also tells me I´m wasting my time doing random stuff and my workouts never work lol. Like my lifts didn´t improve ect. Agree to disagree, just laugh and go on. I´m not trying to change people. Just chill out. Ok I had 3 cigs again and din´t sleep all night maybe I´m the one who needs to chill XD. I will give you that Max needs to be careful of not accusing people of lying. You are like 41, what reason do you have to make some lift number up, matter of fact how would he know if it´s true. Like how would he know how much you lifted when you were 30. As for lifts now, I mean you explained it´s simply to get yourself hyped up, I also randomly made myself believe I can lift 180 kg Deadlift the other day and barely moved it and walked a bit hunched for 4 days from it. You got receipts to your other sports you played, which is very athletic. Also running ability, I am no expert in it. Matter of fact this site is full of lifting numbers which are very very high. So please don´t say "lie" if you don´t got any proof what somebody lifted or maxed at their best. As for right now not being able to total 1500 it´s fine, you just hyped yourself and said if you focused you can get there in a few months. You never came of as a liar to me. Also to kick ass you don´t need to have some polished mma technique, you aren´t trying to be a UFC champion. Fight experience, athleticism and the skills you trained is plenty. I am def keeping my opnion that skill is more important than athleticism but that doesn´t matter. I apsolutely still think it´s ridiculous to say you can learn striking in 5 minutes. But you said to punch you didn´t say 5 minutes to have Ramajdan stadion skills. It´s whatever, doesn´t even matter. It´s just a mentality thing, for me to value skills over phisical. I respect the sport and that is skills first. I get your point too. If I look at Brock and Francis, they got skills, but what sets them apart is their crazy strength / power. And Max is not trying to fight you he never claimed to be amazing at MMA he said he trains for fun and knows he isn´t pro level. I do still get your reaction to call him out for a fight. Ok I´m officially out.

My goal is actually 1400. between work, playing ball and a weeklong tournament it wont be easy but what is the point if its easy?
 
if I really tried I could get like 900 total (pound)

170 deadlift
125 bench
110 squat
(KG)

those are just high estimates and would take me probably like 2 months minimum

am not focused on maxing strength

so my numbers are gonna be a bit lower than that or around that

I like doing cardio now

also random circuits, set times and don´t stop moving for 3 x 3 minutes, 1 min rest. Like mix in battle ropes push ups sprints box jumps a bunch of stuff.

Cardio is more important than pure strength in kickboxing. If you gass out you´re done.

But max strength is very good too.

My total can never be impressive. If anything I can get good "cardio strength" in my legs, like do a lot of unweighed squats, lunges, jumps ect. I mean squating at almost 38 and expecting to get up high is not feasible. I don´t even enjoy squats, they feel hard. Rather zercher squats. At 38 you don´t build a high squat max. I just didn´t squat and skipped legs mostly. I always benched, did a ok amount of back biceps so I can still DL well enough even though I also didn´t deadlift.

So in short I will never be in the convo for impressive total, as my squat can´t get high. That is fine. Not everyone has to have everything. You want cardio, mobility, flexiblity, explosion, strength ect ect. I simply am not a good squater with weighed squats. I just didn´t practice them nor much of anything that has got carry over.

I´m not gonna focus on it. But a lot can change in like 7 months. There´s 7 months left in the year. I don´t even wanna be disapointed and set goals for it. I also don´t wanna focus on the big 3. I like just getting better.

Like your bench can´t be that much better than mine. Your squat is surely much much better, I don´t think double. So how are we supposed to climb to 1400 ? What numbers per lift are you hoping or aiming for ? 500 more pounds than me is a lot or plenty to say the least. Considering you are singificantly lighter. But than again why are people hung up on bodyweight comapred to lifts. Are my 29.5% body fat, fat cells supposed to be extra athletic XD. It´s not like I´m a lean 115 kg.
