Chaels YouTube garbage gets barely any views anymore

his channel still gets a good amount of views, anyone getting that amount can live off of ad revenue and sponsors. his biggest issue is that his channel is fairly low quality and low effort. Guru is going to blow past him.

he's still near 3M views per month, so he's not doing that bad, but his audience is certainly shrinking.

I tried, god knows I did, but after some time I lost all interest in them and I havent watched a single video of this yt-show in over a year.

Its not only that he needs ages to come to the point, but also the ways he uses to come to the point are in 90% of the time not connected to the topic/fight/fighters per se. As its been a while I really have no real example to share, but its basically that when the video title is "JBJ will beat Stipe because of this one thing he does" he will start with "Jon Bones Jones... and then jump immediately to, i dont know, something like Olympic Swimming and Michael Phelps and his success, talk then 7min about Phelps and how he won so many medals and then for the last 27 seconds of the video use Phelps example to find a somewhere barely comparable parallel to JBJ and wrap it up as his fight prediction.

This is how practically all his vides go, and I just dont have the energy and will to listen to this BS. I understand that he thinks he is very smart and sophisticated by presenting fights and predictiions in a different way than all the others, but at the end of the day his way sucks and thats why his yt is declining. Thank god it is!

I used to watch shale. He had some great moments. But he barely made sense anymore, was all clickbait and the shilling was too much.

His podcast ain’t terrible. It’s short, most importantly. Chael does have some really good stories about team quest and the old days. He also speaks to the business/promotional side of the sport in a way that other pundits cannot.

I consume 5-6 hours of content per week due to work commute, so 30-45 minutes of Chael per week isn’t that much of an investment.

Its because hes a pathological liar that gets off on lying and sees his audience as guinea pigs to test his lying skills.

After awhile you realize hes full of shit and ask yourself why you are getting your MMA news from a proud conman.

People say Chael is a brilliant speaker and you could listen to him talk about paint drying. That is exactly the problem hes going to use that talent to get you to listen about paint drying.

Admitting you’re playing a character is fair enough when the thing you do for a living is fighting. When you’re a YouTuber and you put a pair of stupid glasses on to signify that you’re hamming it up, it just doesn’t work. It takes away from your words and it’s been obvious for a long time now that Chael is running out of ideas

I only really ever listened to Chael when he was doing that Submission Underground thing. He would have whole periods of that show where he just talked UFC fights, and it was okay. Weird, but okay.

I'm actually surprised if he's struggling for views, though, he seemed to tick quite a lot of the boxes people seem to look for when chowing down such waffle.
