Chad Mendes dominated Conor more than Khabib did

Seriously? Worst example ever.

Conor chopped up Mendes from the bottom with elbows. Conor actually won the groundfighting despite never controlling position.

Then Mendes totally gassed out (which is why he tried a panic armbar) and couldn't even put up a fight the next round.

Due to "short training camp" of course oh yeah and artificially-built PED body which tend to gas out.

Khabib nearly KOed Conor standing and toyed with him on the ground. The only shot Conor got on Khabib from the bottom was an illegal knee.
 
It's weird how people don't get something so simple. When you go 80,90 or 100% you are gambling cause your gas won't keep up. You see worse fighters win rounds by going harder and then lose due to gassing out all the f'ing time. The "well they were winning till they gassed" and "would have won if they didn't gas" threads and posts have to be among the dumbest shit out there.

are you really bringing up a fight where conor fought on a badly injured knee, yet was still able to thrash mendes in under 2 rounds....mendes was getting tagged, every second they were on the feet. even on the ground, conor landed a ton of elbows, which forced mendes to go for an ill advised guilitine....fact is, mendes couldn't make it out of the 2nd round with a badly injured conor.

Dumb thread, maybe if Chad fought more conservatively he would have won but it would have been less impressive than Khabib's win, the fact is Chad gassed faster than Mcgregor which is a feat in it's own and got finished.
