Chad Mendes at Bantamweight?

Conor is a huge FW, but I still can't believe how big the size difference was between the two when they fought. Mendes could absolutely make the cut down to BW and possibly be very dangerous there. He'd be a rather large BW. Another good reason is that he's now lost to Conor, Edgar and Aldo, the top 3 guys in the division, don't know where he would go from where he is now.

Some match ups at BW that would be great:

TJ Dillashaw (Bad blood with Alpha male fall out)
Takeya Mizugaki
Jimmie Rivera
Frankie Saenz (Frankie fought Faber, would be interesting to see how Mendes matches up with him.)
Luri Alcantara (See to Saenz Above.)

Some real good fights for him at BW IMO

Should have made the move years ago honestly, Only reason he probably didn't at least try was Faber and Benavidez both at 135 and later TJ. But yeah with his build and an IV ban idk if he could get there it may not be in a healthy way. Ship has probably sailed on the idea.

Somebody posted not too long ago a pic, here on sherdog, of both hanging out. It was like a couple of months ago I believe, long after the whole Alpha Male drama went down. They are indeed cool.
