Celine Dion vs. Mariah Carey - Who's the better singer?

Mariah was garbage. Celine Dion easily.

Anyone who thinks Mariah is in the same league as like Aretha, Whitney, Mahaila Jackson, Etta James etc shouldn't discuss music

Obviously both are great vocalists. They're completely different though and bring different things to the table. People usually just say Mariah because she's the more socially acceptable answer.

Usually with these comparisons I just say pick whoever you enjoy listening to more. I prefer Mariah in her prime but Dion has held a higher level over the years.
