Celebrities you have seen be dicks

It's fairly common knowledge around San Antonio that if you see Tommy Lee Jones (he lives in the area) you do NOT approach him. lol
He seems so warm and friendly though

I’ve always heard Kevin James is kind of a dick in-person. Just what I’ve heard, so grain of salt.

I think everyone agrees that Becks is the absolute best. It's funny because he was hated for a while in England, but that's all in the past.

I used to be an aspiring writer and met a lot of writers and poets who later became semi-famous in my country. At least half of them were absolute c*nts and many became even worse after making it. Mind you, making it as a writer in my small country is selling a few thousand books and having the newspapers run interviews with you - you'll still be much poorer than the average working stiff. Never understood why that would inflate somebody's ego like it apparently does.

Saw Nikolaj Coster-Waldau at a cafe once and he seemed like an excellent guy. He was with his family, so I didn't approach, but he was a gentleman to anyone who did.
Mike Tyson said it best when you get famous its like some type of potion put on you, you start getting high off it, off the praise the attention, you start feeling you are a God a super figure that people worship.

This why a lot of people change when they get famous they start thinking they are superior to you, social media has exposed the toxic side of it and it turns to narcissism its why so many young kids are trying to get filthy rich of youtube and instagram being shallow they want that lavish life without having to work hard to be talented.

This why you see a lot of these famous people surrounding themselves with yes men, the down to earth celebs like Keanu Reeves are a blessing.

You are Danish? you mention Nikolaj, I met the boxer Mikkel Kessler in Oakland many years ago very nice guy also Danish.

I actually had the decency to ask Joe for a picture, people would literally grab or just throw their arms around him
really surprised Joe wasnt a dick to anybody (i was just a kid, jeez this was almost 20 years ago now)

Rogan has always been pretty nice to his fans

Yeah it's nice when people remember you when they have no reason too. Jason Byrne the comedian always remembers me for some reason, I end up on stage with him most times I see him.

As for James Thompson, he was fighting on the same card as a friend of mine, early 2000's I think, down in Brighton or Hastings. They both lost, I forget the specifics of the JT fight but my boy was on the prelims as an amateur fight.
Anway both camps kind of knew each other, we had a lot of smoke with us and they offered us a lift back to Essex, so we all got blazed on the drive home. Met him a bunch of times afterwards and he'd always come over for a chat or a beer, top bloke!
I used to run with a lot of the local MMA scene back in the day, especially Essex way. Circus Tavern Purfleet etc. Early Cage Rage events we had a few friends fight in, usually amateur pre-prelims, usually one and done, but we got to meet a lot of cool people.

Jens Pulver was best, I remember talking to him about his Dusty speech and how it choked me up back in the day, we both got kind of emotional and hugged it out. Dude was real, no fake bullyshit with him
Really cool story. Did you go to Cage Rage much? I used to quite a lot at Wembley Arena, it was cheesy as hell but I saw some decent fights. Tom Watson was the favourite at the time, I saw Shamrock clearly throw a fight, the only Google I can find of Ross Pointon's cut where his forehead opened links me to Reddit so I won't post it at work, but was there for that. I was gutted it got called off. Even saw Dizzee Rascall do one of the entrances and couldn't stand him at the time so I thought that was daft....kind of like him now. Think I even saw Tank Abbot but don't quote me on that.

Malcolm, one of the commentators and I are still in touch, he lives in the same town as my mate who's friends with Freeman. It is a very small world, the MMA world isn't it? I only know my mate through MMA as well.

All of them have been extremely nice:

Flo Rida: Really nice dude. Did an impromptu show at the night club we were at as well...

Russell Wilson: Friends and I recognized him on the street and said hello. Talked to us for a few minutes and when he finally left, we all agreed that no one is that nice, and decided he likely had people chained up in his basement. He was also surprisingly short.

Jeremy Stephens/Danny Castillo: Last Call taps me on the shoulder when while I'm in line for a beer at a Billiard Hall/Club. Asks me for the time. I was so tempted to say... It's nearly Last Call, but kept that one close to the chest and gave him the time. Then asked if he was Danny Castillo. He seemed surprised, and invited us back to meet Jeremy too, who was having a terrible night but still really nice. We got to hang out for a bit, talked MMA, etc.

One of the Real Housewives: Sweet lady, a little older. Still no idea who she was, but everyone else did. She knows someone in my family.

Sanjaya: Nice. I had no idea who he was either, and asked one of my friends why everyone kept going up to meet this random guy at a party. He had to explain who he was. We ended up making small talk for a bit. Then I'm 99% sure he stole my phone while I was in the bathroom. Either him or his cousin. Long story.

A very famous celebrity who I will not name: Gave me her number, wanted to meet up the next night. Also a very long story. Ended with me getting nervous and taking my sweet time... By the time I arrived, she was gone, but her entourage were still there. I will never forget the look the man I assumed was her bodyguard gave me. He just laughed and told me I was a crazy guy. But really, I just have social anxiety. My friend hooked up with one of her people that night, though. So good for him.

Mary K Letourno: A blacked-out Mary K kept trying to hold my hand outside of a club in Belltown. Asked me if I wanted to get late-night food and said her place was right by there. Hard Pass. My friend laughed and said "The worlds most infamous child-molester just tried to fuck you."

Bill Gates: Nice. Very reserved. Was by himself, actually. Probably because we were both at a hospice visiting people two rooms away.

The Band Switchfoot: Before they were famous, they used to sell CD's outside a place where I worked. I bought one, and always chatted with them. I felt bad for them because I thought their music was terrible. Little did I know.

Some random MTV personality: This is strange because I still don't know who this woman was. Didn't then, and don't now. But they were filming something at my house and she was in charge. Used my bedroom for their equiptment... and this chick sits down on my bed seductively and says "Did you ever think I'd be laying on your bed?" I just acted impressed, because I didn't have the heart to tell her I had no idea who she was. I asked her if she wanted a 40. She said yes. We drank it together and took a picture.

The very one celebrity I met that was less than nice was Nate Robinson. He came to a party... at my house... and refused to even reply when I said hi and told him I was a fan. Came with an entourage of like ten of the sluttiest girls I have ever seen. Talked to no one, not even them. Had a few drinks, then left... and promptly got into an altercation in the middle of the street. Very odd.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

people going to famous people and bothering them are the worst
piss off with your fawning
i just want to have a beer in silence, not take pictures with your unmemorable faces
leave famous people alone
they don't want you to come and say hi

Trent tomlinson was a real dick to a waitress . she just asked if he was who he was and he yelled " im not here to sign autograph just lunch" was a real dickhead. Ugly bastard. Every teacher i talked to that had him said he was a little asshole, lazy and full of himself.

Sheryl crow is from my hometown. She was nothing but super nice when she came shopping in my store. Signed autographs and everything all smiles. Only bad thing ive heard about her was her legendary promiscuity.

Once a cheater, always a cheater, I guess.

I can’t imagine that Mike Tyson level of fame where every single day of your life everywhere you go somebody will come put up to you “It’s YOU! Oh my God, you’re the best to ever!” How does that not sink in after a while and get in your head?

Yeah, for sure. But who knows, perhaps they had an open relationship or something weird. This was outside of the Bar which her Husband worked at as a DJ if you can believe that... Fun fact: The places name is Karma. lol

I don't approach celebs because I always figure they'd rather be left alone. It must be exhausting being mobbed all the time if you're famous. Anyway the only celeb that I can think of that I talked to was Zakk Wylde. He was drinking in a local bar so I figured it was cool. I just said "hi, I just wanted to say I really like your music and you're an awesome guitar player" he gave a big one armed hug (because he was holding a beer in his other hand) and said "Thanks man that's fucking nice of you". I left him be and went back to my table. Next time I saw him he was holding on to some poor dudes shirt collar and looking like he was about to punch him. Apparently the dude had made fun of Ozzy.

Is she still married to that kid she fucked?

Also, why won't you tell us the name of a celeb that you didn't bang anyway?

Because she's really famous and is now happily married with kids. Just wouldn't seem right. She was one of the nicest people I've ever met too. I'd just lost a close friend and she talked to me for an entire hour and listened and shared her own story of loss and grief. Even bought me a beer. I owe her my silence.
