Cejudo just quit

Why is it whenever a foul ends a fight the dude who got fouled gets shit on? Song's fingers where extended the entire fight. Here's an idea, if you want the fight to go the distance maybe try not gouging your opponents eyes out.

If you're blaming anyone other than Yadong and Herzog for the way the fight ended then you're actually brain dead.
It's easier to hate on Henry than to actually be real, this was a bullshit result. I thought Song was on his way to winning but come on.

I’m not a Henry fan, but he couldn’t see out of his left eye. Said everything was blurry in that eye and was complaining to his corner immediately about it when he sat on the stool after round 3. I don’t think an Olympic gold medalist and former 2 division champ singing to quit. Btw I’m not a cejudo fan, but the guy has earned my respect as a competitor tons of times over. Dude didn’t quit that is bs. If he can’t see out of one eye he is at a severe disadvantage and frankly can’t defend himself properly.

im sick of refs not giving points for eye pokes. If they did people would stop doing them. All this warning shit is joke. This should have been a NC or majority draw.
I know, I was under the impression that the first warning for those type of fouls is in the back when the ref is giving the fighters their instructions. So that if it happened, it’s automatically a point deduction.

I'm sure he was having a hard time seeing,

But.. the ref clearly explained what was going to happen. It was going to go to the scorecards and he had to know he was losing. So he was just willing to take the loss. You'd think Cejudo unable to see or not would want to go out there and throw some hay makers to potentially avoid a loss.

So I do think he was kinda looking for a way out, or a less embarrasing loss. Becaause it wasnt looking good for him

I'd never accuse Cejudo as lacking heart, look at his Moraes fight.

He didn't throw anything in the last 1:16 of the 3rd after the eyepoke. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt
Moraes start was overrated…. It was Merab that showed heart against Moraes

Henry was clearly losing a decision and found a way to lose with a very small asterisk instead

Should parlay the small amount of face saved with retirement or try wrestling offensively in his next fight, apparently he's good at wrestling

I don't get how a professional fighter needs to be warned in the first place. It is not like it some new rule. It is there because it is exceptionally dangerous.

Never been one to ask for people to get banned, but there’s a recent trend of fat losers posting likes of Whitaker, Henry, Strickland etc etc are pussies, cowards.

Fuck off with that crap.

Honestly think other fighters would have quit sooner. Cejudo is tough though and made it look less than it was.

I don't think I've ever seen a fighter more desperate to find a way out of a fight .... And it may have very well been because he figured he'd get a rematch. But he understood that he was going to lose that fight if it was stopped and he did it anyway. And I hate to doubt an injury but as I wasn't even read he wasn't blinking didn't favor the eye the whole time he was telling bisbane he was his brother and I'm sure it's going to come out that absolutely nothing happened to his eye other than he got poked. I'm willing to bet he'll never fight in the UFC again.

Good ole whippy make excuses for him. He has another eye, but he ain’t no warrior like Bisping.

I guess we can all shit on: Belal Muhammad, Alan Belcher, and Gian Villante as well?
