Carlos Takam vs Jerry Forrest July 9th Espn Top Rank

78-74 Takam. Gimmie round for Forest. Inside work around the one min mark.

They sort of have that john madden vibe going

Takam’s cheek’s got that Covid-19...looks ouchy.

Edit to add once posted, looks very gay. Anyway, g'nite!

Andre Ward is way too biased towards American fighters with his scorecards, seems like he had this a draw?

There is no way Forrest won the 6th and giving him the 7th is also a stretch even though he landed that one big left hand.

That one shot was enough that I thought he might get Takam out of there, to be honest. Not a violent finisher, that's for sure. He really needed to try to capitalize there by opening up a bit.

Interesting fight for Carlos Takam who was able to seize the opportunity to come back to the forefront.

This victory should allow Carlos Takam to face a Top 10 boxer again in the coming months. A victory could give him a last chance in the world.

A French-French clash against Toni Yoka would also be a good thing.

This would give a better measure of Yoka's potential against a tough boxer like Takam.

Agreed. Given the current state of boxing in France Yoka has been fighting in headliners since his debut, but he still lacks a success against a decent guy who actually fights back. I’d attend this if it happened in Paris.
