Hahahahaha.Jones is so great, people trying to cope by talking about him getting knocked down in sparring.
I wonder how much DC paid Carlos to talk about this
When? It's said that ever since he was a light heavyweight, Jon Jones would spar and wrestle with heavyweight constantly. It's said he has already been rocked in more intense sparring by a strong punch from HWs, but that most times he'd be too much for the heavyweights he would spar with. He would do the same as Daniel Cormier, who would spar more intensely with Cain until both were totally waste. Cain Velasquez said that he and DC knew how to spar in a hard way giving their best but without hurting each other, which according to him happened often when he was helping DC to fight JJ for the first and the second time. He said that even when DC sparred him with the weight he would fight Jon Jones with, that it just would be hard for both of them, that neither of them could get a solid upper hand and they were just good enough to push each other really far... Cain even said he was coaching DC both times he fought against Jon Jones and that it was hard to believe Jon Jones IQ, that he'd be aggressive but at the same time clear headed enough to just read the fighting situation perfectly, he'd be really extraordinary at picking up DC's tendencies and set ups, faints, mid fight and use it against him.Cool story bro
Anyways a few years ago Mir took Jones down with ease and big bothered him
What is funny is that it's not a new thing, the first person to mention that was none other than Jon Jones... And the Chechen fighter said people would talk about it, ask him, and that he just thought it didn't make sense for Jon Jones to bring that up as it was a sparring session and things happen in sparring... Jon Jones was the first one who brought up that story, in 2019 to be precisely (or 2020, but among these times)...Jones is so great, people trying to cope by talking about him getting knocked down in sparring.

Amagov, unfortunately, turned out to be another common thug who was picked up after a chechen street beef leaving two dead and six injured in Moscow where he stabbed a guy in the chest, which is why you haven't heard of him since 2017.

He's currently quietly running a small gym last I heard.
Also Frank Mir in the elevatorJones also couldn't handle econo Reem and got injured.
AA also bullied him which is why he actually have Tom props for beating him

And that's a cool story and one that is true. Jon Jones has a heavyweight sparring partner from Dagestan whom iirc it was said JJ personally called him (and pay him a big amount of course) to help him with intense wrestling sessions, as well as MMA grappling, like, training striking all while using grappling and pushing the opponents, holding them while landing shots at the same time. He said there was an agreement for a more intense sparring between Jon Jones and other heavyweights. He literally said one of them is also in line for a title shot and is among the best of the divisions so he wouldn't reveal the HW names he sparred with... But that Jon Jones showed up there later, they thought Jon Jones gave up sparring them that day, but when Jon Jones appeared there, he wasn't totally sober, he sounded a little intoxicated. He said he wasn't drunk, but clearly a little more loosened up, as if he had some beer or even smoked a joint lol but he was a little intoxicated. And then in the sparring, it was like, they couldn't even touch him, and that when grappling was involved, Jon Jones could do whatever he wanted and it wasn't even a match... Whether his partner from Dagestan was telling the truth is up to you, but that story was also stated by ppl who had a role in managing sparring deals in that gym and was never dismissed by anyone, not even when people heavily speculated one of them was Volkov and even asked Volkov if that was true. Volkov never answered.
Frank Mir also said recently that he would like Jon Jones to retire now as he has already done everything, and that retiring now is what basically every fighter who has gone as far as Jon Jones went, would do, as even fighters who had accomplished less than JJ, like Khabib and GSP, retired earlier than JJ without challenging themselves as much. But that at the same time, he also kinda wishes Jon Jones keeps doing it, because while 37, he said Jon Jones looks just as good as ever, but he is smarter now, has an even bigger understanding of MMA, he polished his techniques even more and that he believes he can be dominant in HW for a long time if he wishes to... Which was also said by Gordon Ryan, Gordon said he kinda wished Jon Jones would retire but at the same time he was excited when he saw JJ chose to fight more, because Gordon said he knew Jon Jones, with the competitive drive he was with currently and his overall skills, would just not lose to any fighter that is in UFC right now... And then he said it made him happy because he's excited to see Jon Jones fighting the next two fights he plans to, because he said there is a strong belief now that JJ isn't the same and this third generation he's going accross is already past his level, but that he as well as his teammates knew he is just going to win every fight. Gordo Ryan said that, that it just makes him happy because he knows Jon Jones and he isn't an MMA fighter but he said he sees many things from MMA in an analytical way, and he knows Jon Jones will simply defeat Tom, Alex... That they will be no match. Well, who knows, I'm just quoting them lol
theres no drug testing in the ufc beforeThat's must be when Jon decided to start bulking up and pulsing picograms

None of this is true. The evidence we have available actually suggests the opposite.Jones also couldn't handle econo Reem and got injured.

Every fighter on the planet has been taken down before. Why don’t we look at how Mir performed against Cormier versus how Jones did. Also Frank Mir in the elevator
Out of prison, he was lucky and didn't end up killing the kid he stabbed.Good ol Chechen clan wars.
So he's out of prison or is he still doing time?

Mike Pyle beat the fuck out of him too four months later in a horribly late stoppage. I'm not sure someone's taken more brain damage in two back to back fights four months apart.
