The guy seemed to be on the verge of tears.

What can you offer, sherbros?

lol, Eddie is in full DAMAGE LIMITATION mode right here. He is thinking, "how do I get out of the fight is the least painful and least embarrassing way"

It's tears of joy for being a part of an epic history.

he always has that resigned and butthurt expression, like a worried 6 year old boy. he had it right before he bounced dos anjos' brain around

"Come on Eddie, you can do this! ... think.., think of a way to get knocked out, then I can say I 'just got caught'"

Eddie went out there and fought. He kept fighting until he couldn't anymore.

I'm still an Alvarez fan and will continue to be one. Anyone who is "not a fan" because he lost to Conor was never a fan to begin with.
Honestly sometimes even a great experienced fighter like Alvarez meets an obstacle unlike any he's ever faced.

Reminds me of Sylvia facing fedor
Griffin facing Anderson Silva

There's an aspect of the fight game that the pros experience inside the cage that we can't say we are familiar with. It takes place inside their minds.
