I'm a no. Are there any actual stories to these fucking movies? FFS, they're just set pieces and plot devices to get from one CGI fight to the next. This shit is not compelling.

Nope no stories to any of these movies. Marvel basically spent 10 years making movies with no stories then threw them all into one movie just for set pieces. You've got it figured out bro.

I didn't know what the story was for this movie but it sounds pretty good from what I read. Interesting at least.

Yes. Something about the way she talks seems girlish, instead of womanly and confident, which you would expect from a superhero. I liked what the trailer presented and it got me a bit excited, but Larson didn't match what they were presenting. I really like the Marvel movies so i'm sure it'll be fine.

I was going to reply similarly. They took 10+ years introducing most characters via an origin movie and then bringing them together in many ensemble stories culminating in a 10 year vision for an epic 'all-in' contest and his question is 'are there any stories', lol. This is lauded as one of the most successful cinematic universe creations of all time and others are now trying to copy it. Ya, lol, nothing to see here.

Whenever someone says the MCU movies have no connected plot or coherent stories I shake my head. For fucks sake Winter Soldier was a tribute to 70s political thrillers with the comic book twist they even got Robert Fucking Redford .

Yup and Russo basically guaranteed they would be directing Civil War after this entry and with Civil War they showed to were more than capable of handling Infinity War. There is a long Video on YouTube from a guy Name Mauler thst breaks down how epically good Inifintiy war is and he points out how well it respects the continuity of the ensemble cast.
