And that was in response to Fury lying to Tony Stark. So I am implying that by the time Fury met Stark he's learned how to lie like a champ.

and no Fury is not a Skrull. lol

The reason being that in major business actions (like buying Fox for 71 BILLION dollars) they can chose how much to pay in shares or in cash. Even if they bought tickets for a few hundred million dollars (which they would get about half of the money back too, not saying they did) they would most likely still come out on top when it comes to the merger/buyout of Fox because its such an insane price tag.

@JadeOwl I stopped at they bought a few hundred millions worth of tickets. I know these people are stupid but are they that stupid? That person doesnt deserve to make videos, he is dumbing down the population.
 
@AOM Anyone who says it was as bad as bp shouldnt be taken seriously. I loved BP, the visuals was great. You want to see bad movies then watch all 3 thor films. I would take BP over Thor any day. CM is also very good

But his point is precisely that. That the stories about Disney buying millions of tickets to prop up the movie’s box office falls apart if you look at it with the least bit of critical thinking.

All the CT about Captain Marvel’s success do.
 
@JadeOwl ok, I thought he meant that Disney was buying up 100's of millions of dollars worth of tickets. That wouldnt even make sense if anyone actually believed that.

No, on the contrary.

He did the math and showed that if Disney had bought the number of seats the idiots are claiming they did, it would’ve only added a little over 16 million dollars to the opening weekend gross. Even taking that out, the gross would’ve still been above projections.

So it made absolutely no sense for Disney to have done that.

I was pointing out that the guy in the video was making the exact opposite point.

The movie itself has made about 800 million and those people think Disney would use up around 200 million to buy tickets? That makes absolutely no sense. It didnt even need it. We all knew the movie was going to be a success. Also white females dont care as much as white males about Brie said.

When I say dont care I mean they dont like what she said probably but it wont stop them from seeing the movie.

I had super low expectations and it slightly exceeded them. It was still somewhat bland and soulless. I just couldn't connect with the main character. If it weren't for Sammy J, the cat, and the Krull, it would have sucked hard.
 
I just saw the captain marvel movie. Cap marvel power level is actually perfect. Her raw strength really isn't that high, but she's a bit more durable. The big thing she has is her photon powers. Thanos is gonna have his hands full.

Brie's acting was way too wooden . I get she was portraying someone who is basically depressed not knowing who she was and can only begrudging smile, but the acting still wasn't that good. Not bad though. Think they could have cast better.
