I hope Agent 13 is in this. I would love to see her and Captain Marvel together. For some reason the one actress always reminds me of the other.

Who's that one chick that towers over freaking Batista?
That's Elizabeth Debicki (The Night Manager, The Man From U.N.C.L.E.) who plays Ayesha in GotG 2.

Elizabeth Debicki Confirmed to Play Ayesha in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2

Elizabeth-Debicki-Ayesha-Guardians-Galaxy-2-Dragonlord.jpg

As previosuly reproted, Elizabeth Debicki will be playing Ayesha aka Kismet aka Her in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2.

For those in the dark, Her was the second creation by the Enclave, a galactic organization comprised of the universe's most brilliant scientist. In their Citadel of Science, they sought to create the perfect mate for their first creation, Himaka Adam Strange. Rather this is the route taken by James Gunn in the Guardians sequel remains to be seen.

In addition, Chris Sullivan will be playing Taserface. In the film, it's Ayesha who solicits the help of the Guardians, who are now famous across the universe after their defeat of Ronan the Accuser. Of course, things don't go according to plan.

Pom Klementieff also briefly spoke during the panel, revealing that throughout her entire life, Mantis has only had contact with Kurt Russell's character (who was revealed to be Ego) prior to meeting theGuardians. That should certainly set the stage for some hilarious hi-jinks.

In other Guardians news, Gillan confirmed that that Nebula reluctantly works with her sister this time around but it's likely she won't become a full-fledged member of the team. She aslo revealed that Nebula will have hair this time around.

And happens to be 190 cm (6' 3'') tall. A woman that tall really should know better than to wear heels next to her costars.

It's like that time Queen Elizabeth visited the Game of Thrones set and Sophie Turner made everyone look like hobbits by putting on a pair of high heels. And she's only 175 cm tall.

Brie Larson Thanks Fans for Their Support After CAPTAIN MARVEL Casting

A few more recent pics from her Instagram account.

Alright, I have no idea who Brie Larson is... She a good pick?

Debicki looks like the better fit, but Larson has the cachet. Good actress, although I've never seen her play strength that wasn't based on vulnerability.

I didn't think Melisa Benoist was pretty when the casting news first came out, but I was very wrong.

They've got time, so they'll likely do some movie magic and get her looking really pretty and toned.

Another alternative I would have preferred over Brie Larson is Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Hopefully Marvel finds something for her and Blunt down the road.

Not familiar with Brie's work and still wanted Yvonne Strahovski but I can't hate. I hear Brie is very talented and is a good cast for the role.

A little excited for this movie now.

Would net a nerdgasm if they somehow tease or introduce Richard Rider in this and tie him to the GOTG as well..... sigh a man can dream
Lol his name is dick rider? Is he the first gay marvel character?

Congrats to Larson for getting the part.

Not excited for this movie one bit. Captain Marvel? Not a popular character to the non comic book fan one bit. I myself have no knowledge of the character except that she was known as Ms. Marvel then got her name switched to Captain Marvel which sounds like a mans name or makes me think of a male super hero. I would just focus on the real popular characters that are more known to the general public. That's my 2¢

It worked for GOTG. And Captain Marvel while not known to the public per say has been around a while and has been featured in many of the modern comic events to some extent. And in the current civil war 2 story line is one of the main characters.
