She definitely can't. She's not even delivered the few lines she's had in her cameo like roles well.

If she is going to star in her own biopic that's most likely going to be an involuntary comedy. Not that I'm bashing Ronda for not being able to act, that's hard and I'm probably bad at it as well, but if you take acting jobs then you open yourself up to criticism (legit criticism, people like her always get criticized for everything anyway). Especially if you agree to star in a film.

shes a good actress but I've never been overly impressed by her. She'll play mystique at least one more time (she wasn't even right for that role) and how many corny mocking jay movies are there going to be? She's not good enough looking to play Danvers and everything she is in is overhyped.

She was damned good in the Silver Linings Playbook and hers was the best performance (by far) in American Hustle.

I haven't cared much for any of her other roles and didn't like her at all as Mystique.

Kevin Smith Backs Ronda Rousey for CAPTAIN MARVEL Role

Mallrats director Kevin Smith shared his support for Ronda Rousey, explaining how well she would fit the starring role of Captain Marvel and why she would make a great superhero, during a conversation with TMZ.

"See her in that picture? Come on! You don't even need to think at this point. There's an image; we can see it. She looks amazing. Lord knows she's one of the only people who would play a superhero that could actually beat the [censored] out of somebody. I would like to see it happen. She seems like she's got a good head on her shoulders. She followed her dream and, holy [censored], she's an ass-kicker. If that doesn't sound like a superhero, I don't know what is."

Rousey, who recently shared her wish to play Captain Carol Danvers in an Ask Me Anything session with fans, made her desire for the role a bit more pronounced Saturday when she shared fan art showing herself illustrated in the full Captain Marvel regalia.

The undefeated UFC champ is no stranger to Hollywood, having recently appeared in both Furious 7 and the Entourage movie. Additionally, she is quite the nerd herself, having been a moderator for a Pokemon fan forum in her youth. Written by Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve, Captain Marvel is scheduled for release on November 2, 2018.

Lets be honest here, Rousey is hotter than post-retirement Carano. And she is a better actor too.

Agreed but a lot of powerful people "not Kevin Smith" apparently likes the idea of Ronda for the part. I think its really a bad idea but they seem think she could create a stronger Carol Danvers. They think her attitude and they believe they could give her humor that is a perfect match for her. I think its a terrible idea but they think they could make the part perfect for her.

Basically shape the part to her strengths and fill in the parts like humor into her role. I think she will freeze a lot and have trouble with being believable when she needs to be. I think she will try to overact parts but this is not the first time that Marvel took an MMA fighter and gave them a part. This would be the first time that an MMA fighter is given the big part.

I really think she is in serious consideration for the part and unfortunately for good actresses who would have been far better for the part.

EDIT:Fun fact Ronda Rousey has three times as many results on Google then Brock Lesner and trends much higher then him an any other UFC fighter or former fighter.
