Honda I can understand and agree with. But JLaw is an extremely talented actress. She won an Oscar at 22, and was nominated for a second. While I doubt she regards playing Mystique as one of her career highlights, there was nothing wrong with her performance.

They had to have done a ton of touch up work for her face. It's not normal shaped like that. Her face is round and chunky.

She would be a freaking Avenger. But every actress in Hollywood wants that role so she's not gonna get it. A more attractive, more skilled actress will.

Played out? She's played Mystique in three movies. So far Evans has played the Human Torch twice and Captain America four times. Five if you count his cameo in Thor: Dark World.

She's tall and has a good body. Unless Captain Marvel is a midget anorexic, I don't see how her looks are a negative factor.

shes a good actress but I've never been overly impressed by her. She'll play mystique at least one more time (she wasn't even right for that role) and how many corny mocking jay movies are there going to be? She's not good enough looking to play Danvers and everything she is in is overhyped.

My issue is Ronda is not an established actress I really don't think Marvel would be willing to take a 150 to 200 million dollar gamble on Ronda Rousey? Jennifer Lawrence and Emily Blunt have both shown they can play strong leads. Danvers is a complex role she has too be smart have a comic side and be able to be strong when needed to be. I think that Yvonne Strahovski is physically a nearly perfect person for the part. She is sexy and she has played in comic roles and serious parts the problem is she lacks the visibility of a Lawrence or a Blunt.

Don't need to be a good actor to play a superhero in a movie these days. If fucking Ben Affleck can be Batman after the horrendous ruination he did to Daredevil (lucky the netflix series happened otherwise people wouldn't give a fuck about Daredevil anymore) then I have no problem at all with Ronda as Captain Marvel.

I actually didn't mind Daredevil... It was 100X better than Electra.
