This woman is nuts I cannot handle her reviews she tried to come off as a good reviewer but she is annoying. She cannot except that Ronda has no idea how to act especially at the level needed for a film. If they are going after someone with little if any acting skill they should pick Taylor Swift for the role. She will bring massive media coverage and she has shown she has a comic bent. She has already 41 million followers on facebook and twitter. She would bring her huge fan base to the film. Ronda has only marginally better acting skill then Gina and she is far from being able to lead a 100 million dollar property. I still believe Emily and Jennifer Lawrence are the leading candidates for the part.
 
Negative, ghost rider. Casting Honda in that role would be an abomination. I read somewhere on this thread mentioning Emily Blunt. That would make more sense. Place a real actor in a big role opposed to a pop culture icon.
 
Carol Danvers is kinda like the Power Girl of marvel.

That means tits. Tall, athletic, with gigantic tits.

Could have some funny moments with Ms Marvel calling people out on staring at her chest.

How do you do this story without Mar-vell?

Jennifer Lawrence probably doesnt want to do another comic book character ever again. Signing up for possibly another 3 films is restrictive. MARVEL will go with a left of field selection.

If you have the time, check out post #3 to #8 of this thread. I believe I have come up with the perfect Captain Marvel origin story. It even has Mar-Vell (sort of) in it.

Tall and athletic I agree, but gigantic tits? Are you talking about a Cap Marvel series I haven't heard of?

As far as I know, Danvers has the standard boobs of steel look that every other female comic character has.
 
Ronda will not even be able to play Ronda well. I think Marvel has enough foresight to keep her out of helming their first female super hero flick.

As for Yvonne, I have only seen her in Dexter. And while she was not the worst part of that last season (that fucking kid) she was still pretty awful. She definitely looks the part though. Hot as hell.

Yvonne first became famous when she starred in NBC's Chuck (2007-2012). The show is a fun action comedy. The first 3 seasons are the best.

I was not a big fan of Chuck.

I have no problem with Yvonne as a choice. She looks the most like Danvers out of those out there, and you do not need oscar chops for a comic book film.

She would definitely not preclude me from seeing the film.
 
If somehow, someway, Ronda gets the role I wont watch any other marvel movie ever.
 
Ronda is too ugly to play Ms marvel she should stick to playing brutes like she did in Fast and Furious. Somehow in her deluded mind she thinks she can act now and could be a star in a superhero movie.

And since they have said that they wont do origin movies I put this together for how she could debut on Agents of SHIELD.

So I'm thinking early in Season Three after a few episodes of Coulson and Daisy putting together a team as well as Ward getting his formed (finding enemies from Season 1 & 2 who are still on the run like Quinn & Graviton) the Kree return. After the Obelisk (some think it is the Psyche-Magnetron so it shall be named the PM from now on) ate Simmons it has been sealed off but unknown to the AoS crew it has been signalling to the Kree that is active again.

Two Kree teams arrive trying to get it. Yon-Rogg leads one and Mar-Vell the other. This will give us our villain for the first half of the season as Yon-Rogg will try to get the PM and Mar-Vell with SHIELD will protect it. Mar-Vell will show he is a good guy by separating Simmons from the PM.

Carol Danvers will be introduced as a member of the AoS team during this time (maybe a SWORD member helping deal with the alien situation like DL had in his write-up) taking over for Mockingbird as she, Hunter and May will be gone for a while. During the mid-season finale Yon-Rogg knowing that he'll never get the device tries to destroy it. The only ones near are Mar-Vell and Carol, he shields her from the blast and she absorbs his powers and the energy from the blast.

She would be comatose for a few episodes in the 2nd half of the season, she would wake up at the end of an episode a few weeks before Civil War floating above her bed like EMH. Then she and Daisy would cameo in Civil War when either Stark or Cap go to the facility they are at and Fury could be there monitoring them and give the movie going audience a quick breakdown on there powers. Daisy not wanting to be in the public and Carol still being very new to her powers takes them off the list. On the show she'd be Ms Marvel at the time and have that gear. Carol would only use her powers in the field during the finale, perhaps Ward's team attacks and Carol takes out Graviton but nothing all that big (gotta save the Kamehameha for the movie).

Carol ends up leaving Earth with Mar-Vell to go check out Hala to end the season. Would get her off the show and possibly have her cameo in GOTG 2 the following year.
 
If Jennifer Lawrence got cast as Ms. Marvel I would have a HUGE problem
 
There's one perfect role for Ronda.
