Are you of the opinion that intent is inconsequential when committing a crime?

That only the successful outcome of a crime makes it illegal?

If I'm an incompetent idiot and attempt to rob a bank, you think I shouldn't face any legal charges simply because I was unable to accomplish my task?

What happens if you point a gun at a police officer's head, shoot, and then miss? You think they would say "oh well, he didn't actually kill anybody, so no crime here"?

These stupid attempts to downplay Jan 6th simply because they were low iq morons, or old, or dressed like teddy bears, does not absolve someone from their actions.

it does however make all these over-dramatic twats that say it's the worst thing since the holocaust look just like that - over-dramatic tats.

so why not just say " twats that say it's 1000x worse than 9/11"? why make the false claim that people are comparing it to the holocaust? if you're trying to take the high ride and criticize people who think it's a huge deal you're failing and doing the same thing you complain they are doing.

Stewart Rhodes — founder and leader of the extremist group Oath Keepers — was arrested Thursday on a charge of seditious conspiracy, accused of guiding a months-long effort to unleash politically motivated violence to prevent the swearing-in of President Biden that culminated in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

The 56-year-old, who was at the Capitol that day but has said he did not enter the building, is the most high-profile person charged in the investigation so far. The indictment filed against Rhodes and 10 other Oath Keepers or associates marks the first time the historically rare charge of seditious conspiracy has been leveled in connection with the wide-ranging Jan. 6 probe.

Rhodes began discussing plans to keep Trump in the White House by force as early as Nov. 9, the filings state.

3000 died in 9/11. 1000 X worse would be 3 million dead. Seems that would make it the worst thing since the holocaust, no?

Don't be fooled. It's ongoing. They've put in laws that can just toss out votes just because. It's all good though, because they "Pwn teh libs."

Our Democracy is in jeopardy due to these slow moving coup attempts.

im not being fooled man. this is the number one fear i have in life right now.... i dont mean im living in fear but just that the degradation of our democracy is at hand and it could get very bad and none of us are taking it seriously enough.
