Just because they believed there was election fraud, doesn't mean they believed the rioters who broke into the Capitol were justified. Everybody condemned those idiots.

That entire list is gaslighting nonsense. The mere fact the people there were Republicans kinda disproves the "all Republicans" point, republican politicians don't even want to look into the event because it will alienate those who either participated or are sympathetic to the idea (and some may be afraid they are culpable in some manner).

There is also a VAST difference between support of protests and "actively encouraging the burning and looting of businesses", the right wants to pretend there is no distinction but there is.

The morons who say "they have insurance" do not speak for those of us who have unequivocally stated over and over again the opportunistic looters, rioters and arsonists should be in jail.

Why did you cut off the majority of the post you responded to? I said we are far worse at indoctrination and "reeducation" than China, and it isn't particularly close. You get it all throughout school and people working for any large donor corporations will likely be forced into identity politics training. But since you bring it up...

1. Hong Kong just had protests within the last 2 years, and the government's response was about the same as ours. They didn't mow people down, like 2 people were killed.

2. They did execute a woman by shooting her in the throat for trespassing, people were put in solitary confinement without trial, and continue to be arrested 10 months later just for being there.

I just have a few rules before you lose my support.
Don't block roads or private businesses.
Don't interfere with commerce of said private businesses.
Don't smear your feces on the walls.
Don't destroy property.
Don't break into buildings
Don't steal peoples stuff.

1. Anyone who says "Rioters, looters and arsonists should not be prosecuted" is not someone who should be taken seriously. Thankfully, that is not something almost anyone is doing.

2. One was murdered by a cop who had a knee on their neck for 8 minutes. Whether they are a good person or not is irrelevant to the fact sitting on someone's neck until they die is completely fu*ked up. The other was walking through a broken, barricaded door into a secure area of the capital building during an active riot, with armed security telling them to stop, and they chose not to stop.

3. No disagreements here, the idea that people of color can't be racist is moronic nonsense.

4. This point is stupid, "the people" are allowed in through normal processes, they dont get to break windows, climb walls and enter secure areas at-will.
