Can't we that GSP is the best MMA fighter of all time ?

Aldo has 11 top 10 wins and 9 title defenses for the record.

Behind GSP and Silva.

Ahead of Jones.

GSP actually only has 17 wins against ranked competition and 9 title defenses.

Jones has 8 top 10 wins and 8 title defenses.

Fedor has 12 top 10 wins and 3 titles defenses.

Silva meanwhile has 17 top 10 wins and 13 title defenses which makes him GOAT. Not to mention he is a 2 division champ, top 5 in 3 weight classes, and has won 4 major titles.

Thats true. Aldo's resume is excellent. The thing that holds Aldo back is that he hasn't had any legendary moments outside of the first Mendes fight. GOATs don't just compile excellent resumes but they also create legendary moments and grab the attention of the entire sport when they fight. A great performance against Conor in major, high profile fight could do it for him tho.

GSP is the best drug-free MMA fighter of all time.

Anderson Silva is the best MMA fighter of all time who was caught taking banned substances.

considering the way everything has turned out, yes i think he is.

jones is a dirty fighter in more then one way, everyone else had their legacy up-ended by defeats

Ali did too and is still considered the greatest. People remember the things fighters did, rather than failing at the tail end of their career, hence:

1- Silva
2- Fedor
3- Jones
4- GSP

I BASE MY ARGUEMENT ON UNIQUE SKILL SET AND MOST ENTERTAINING CHAMPION TO WATCH.

Aldo's crippling of Urijah "Former 5-Defense Champion" Faber is mentioned to this day. That's legendary as fuck. So is Aldo's spectacular flying knee KO of Cub Swanson, a finish more spectacular than either Fedor, GSP or Jones has ever pulled off.

As for the attention of the entire sport, that's more to do with marketing than anything. The heavier the division the more popular because casuals decide where to spend their PPV dollar based on size rather than skill. To buck this trend you have to holler for attention like Conor does.
