Canelo is slowing down at the end of his career and Crawford is basically already retired and just waiting for his big paycheck. I'm not expecting much here.

Crawford is praying no hiccups, how tf is Canelo gonna catch him with no legs? 2 bodyshots a rd wont secure the win here.

Hard to tell who the real underdog is anymore, but at this point I think I’d rather see the upset than the other way around. Canelos recent run has been… atrocious

This is going to be a shit fight. Canelo is not going to pressure Crawford, and Crawford isn't going to pressure Canelo.
Canelo should comfortably cruise to a UD but I don't expect a KO or anything spectacular. I bet they both retire after this one.

I just hope they both enter the ring juiced to the gills. Canelo looked to be off the sauce this last fight, and looked even more boring than usual.

The thing to remember is that Bud not only needs to win but he needs to win BIG to have any chance on the scorecards. And this is almost certainly going to the decision.

If Bud wins 8-4 on most press cards the judges will have a split, most likely in Canelo’s favour. I know Bud can win anywhere from 5-7 rounds off Camelot but I’m less sure he can win 9, which is the margin he is going to need.

Prediction is controversial UD for Canelo. This will also set up an inevitable rematch, rinse and repeat.

He absolutely was off the sauce. And has been for a while. You could see it in the prefight body language

And it's fucking lame. You're Canelo, the one dude they gonna let slide. Life is short bruh pin up like a white bitch.

Nah man. Canelo is gonna retire soon, ain't no one trying to help him out of the goodness of their hearts...

@Sinister Please tell me you’re aware Crawford will whoop that ass September 12 cause I still have no clue how Canelo could win this.

How can people still think "this version" of Canelo is better than 154 Canelo? 154 Canelo was a beast who fought everyone. 168 Canelo is a pathetic shell of himself. He fought all those Euro-bums and had people fooled.

Of course it looks that Canelo is more complacent now that he's ridiculously rich, but maybe he just needs to get cracked to go back to the KO artist he was? And he had great wins at 168, just not recently.

The reason why I can't go all out on Crawford is that Saunders and Plant were doing well technically but still succumbed when Canelo was able to piece together his offense. It's been a while since those fights but I can't imagine Crawford having the ability of taking more punishment than those guys.

I'm a big Canelo critic, but let's be fair. At 154 he was a smooth combo puncher who could go forward and move backward. After GGG I, he transformed virtually overnight into a predator with shoulder cannons and stealth tech. His run from GGG II to Plant merited ATG status at 168.

He was his best at 168, but his peak was relatively short and now he is inevitably on the decline.
