I predicted Bud would stop Spence but Canelo? Nah. I don't see it happening. Not to sound stereotypical but Mexican boxers are known for their durability. We've only seen Canelo badly hurt once in his entire career and that was many years ago against Jose Cotto when Canelo was still a teenager. This was 15 years ago.

Yeah I remember that but people are sleeping on Bud the dude is real he's stopped everyone except Madrimov but Canelo doesn't have what it takes I can't wait until he proves everyone wrong

Pretty impressive respect so how do you see Crawford vs Canelo playing out

I think Bud can win a decision against Canelo. Canelo's footwork has been lazy over the past 2-3 years and his combination punching has all but disappeared now. He is going to look to enforce his strength and power punches on Bud, but I believe Bud will be the one engaging and keeping Canelo off rhythm. From what I have heard throughout Bud's career, is that he is a lot stronger then he appears. He has a wrestling background that he kept up when be became a boxer, so I think that is a lot of where his strength comes from, and I feel like Canelo will be a bit surprised at that and won't be able to bully him around like he probably expects to. Canelo has been in with punchers, so I don't think he will get badly hurt by anything Bud lands, however this is boxing and there are always a chance for someone getting hurt. I don't honestly see Bud hurting Canelo, but I do see him outboxing and dominating the later rounds enroute to a UD. I feel like this will be a great fight and they'll probably look to do it again off the success of the first fight.

Ok so resume is what decides how good a fighter is or whether he'll win or not that's interesting tell me more
just pointing out that Crawford has beaten absolutely nobody, fights about once a year and is undersized for this fight

- Before the Spence fight: Crawford hasn’t fought anyone. He needs to man up and fight Spence.

- After the Spence fight: Crawford hasn’t fought anyone. Canelo will destroy him.

- After the Canelo fight: Crawford hasn’t fought anyone. Canelo was washed up.

People have already said Canelos slowing down before Crawford was even an option.

Okay. Then let’s not pretend Canelo will steamroll Crawford or whatever. If you think Canelo’s getting fucked up, say it now. Don’t act like you’ve always known after the fact.

Yeah pretty much I don't hear anyone bringing up Porter much in their arguments either and if they do they say it was Spence leftovers it looked like the same bulldog in there with Crawford he's always been

Reality:

Before the Spence fight: Crawford hasn't fought anyone. He needs to man up and fight Spence.

After the Spence fight: OMG, he is the #1 P4P (2 years going strong). He is basically 40-60 dog against unified 168 lb champion.

After the Canelo fight: Crawford got screwwwed!! and... He's gonna get him in the rematch!

Yeah no

If Crawford somehow wins, I'll be the first to say that he is the P4P #1 and I'll even go further and say his legacy surpasses Mayweather's.

You guys are making it seem like Crawford is somehow taking on a lose-lose proposition. When has he ever shown that willingness to take on a dumb bet? If anything, he's kept the safety on his entire career.

He now finds himself in the perfect win-win scenario. Even if he loses, his legacy remains untarnished (Duran's legacy was not tarnished by losing to Hagler) and he gets bank. If he wins, he gets bank x2 (rematch money) and his legacy gets elevated to surreal levels based on 2 elite wins.
