Social Canada truckers against vaccine mandates thread V2

I agree with the first part of what you've said, however I don't think that has any bearing on the second part, with which I'd strongly disagree.
Your earlier point about the right wing politicians is valid-- but it feels like you're trying to use that in order to somehow diminish the equally valid point being made here.

It's a cheap tactic. And right wing people will do it to you the next time they're able to. And then you'll do it back to them again.

Those kinds of things will detract from what is perhaps the most pertinent reality in all this, a reality of which both you and I are keenly aware-- almost none of our leaders give a shit about us
The second part is just me speculating about their vaccine status. Even if those politicians that are against mandates believe that the vaccines are effective, they will not publicly say that out of fear of backlash from their base. I have never stated that the protest is wrong or right. Nor have i stated that i believe there should be a mandate. Simply criticized the politics evolved in the whole situation. I have been especially critical of legal protection offered to the manufacturers.

Yeah freedumb idiots really helping out the cause.

wow that's bold. Not sure sure how tolerant both countries are going to be about this. Not sure if there is a precedence to this.

I agree Canada doesn't want another election but that may be outweighed by public supportin the comming months and just how unpopular Justin drops. If he gets to below 33% approval I cant see the other parties sitting on that.

All Canada hates JT except the 2 main cities. Unfortunately, they hate everyone else slightly more.

Yep, this got several wins. Excited to see Trudys support numbers in that next poll. I agree with the sentiment to pack it up and head home. However I do support general public to come back everyweekend and get as loud as they want on Parliament Hill. Also want to see Poilievre hammer the leadership at every turn. If you follow realtorontonews or straightouttathe6 on social media, youll see that a shit ton of younger Canadians are backing him. Makes the GTA way more in play

I'm out of likes ... LIKE!

Definitely wasn't worth it

I find it strange that our MB premier was the only one (that I know of) to step down during these 2 years
Pallister just said fuck it and went back to his mansion in Costa Rica
I wasn't a fan, but can't say I blame him
our PM enjoyed an increase in support during the majority of the pandemic, although he's facing more criticism now. He also has little to no opposition.

You can say whatever you want about geographic distribution of votes but he still managed to get more MP's elected than any other party.

Yeah QC was really trying to bring the hammer down. Never understood how curfews would help either.
The curfews seemed to do have an effect on the Delta wave, but not the Omicron wave. It honestly didn't impact my life (wife + 3 kids = no social life) but I couldn"t imagine living as a teen in these times.

cowboys in the shower at ram ranch LETS GOOOO

I'm dying laughing at this... listening to the truckers lose their shit and calling them antifa or blm is too funny.

Sending them to the embassies for food and supplies is hilarious also.

And trolls taking over as mods...I'm crying.

Lol oh the left. “Why don’t you believe us when we say bad things about you?”

Maybe because you guys lie and set up people all the time?
Going to need a better source than a jpeg.

Still surprised RCMP and police haven't moved in, this is exactly what bill 1 was made for in Alberta.
Yet Kenney knows this is his base so he has given them plenty of warnings.

Yeah same with me mostly. Only 2 kids though and they aren't really kids anymore.
