Can Weili Zhang pull off the upset?

Come on, Zhang is a rightful underdog in this bout. She took tiny little blown up atomweight Danielle Taylor to a decision and even got dropped by her in the process. Then submitted way past her prime Jessica Aguilar. Her most recent victory in perennial contender Tecia Torres is the first decent win in the UFC, by decision, and that doesn't even look that good since Tecia just got defeated by a relative newcomer in Marina Rodriguez. Is there any doubt in anyone's mind that Jessica Andrade would violently finish or dominantly defeat all the opponents that Zhang beat in her brief UFC run so far? This is a very big step up for Zhang.
It might have been a very big step, but somehow she made it look easy.

So many armchair experts in this thread looking like morons. Too funny.

That was one impressive performance. This division is very interesting of late.
I think it has always been the most interesting and intriguing female MMA division as a whole. High percentage of quality matches and promising fighters

i wanna see her beat the fuck out of rose now.

I completely agree. Flyweight has potential, but strawweight is where it's at.

so anyone else put some money on this? im kinda upset i didnt put more money on it, but i really couldnt do it

btw she looked crazy nervous before the fight.

Zhang is gonna maul Andrade. Andrade will walk into her shots until she's TKO'd and will struggle with takedowns.

Haven't watched the fight yet but I called it. Andrade is all power, not much technique. Zhang has her number.

you're right. she's better.. 42 seconds lmao

oh please, stop trying to find old posts after the fight. Get the context right. The discussion was about whether she could employ the same stick and move Boxing strategy. Seeing as they were simply trading blows in the pocket by the Octagon wall she clearly wasn't fighting that way.

Look at my other recent posts, i made no definite prediction on the winner of this fight.

She’s good but too bad it was staged. Dana used this as a way to get the UFC market in China, the most populated country in the world. Andrade was told to take a dive to further the business model in a new country.
