Can the UFC Ban Conor Specifically From Boxing Matches?

Of course UFC tries to make everyone believe otherwise, but they never even try to sue anyone for participating in grapping contests. Whether it is smart for fighters to risk their UFC career is a different question.

This. Exclusive contracts, Conor isn't fighting anywhere. The only thing he could do is grappling, which the UFC has allowed in the past and recently.

If Mayweather really wants the fight he will offer the UFC co promotion and they will take it.

Unlike in other attempts at co promotion or a contract fighter, fighter fighting outside the UFC this fight would be a total Win/Win for the UFC regardless of how Conor did in terms of exposure.

One of the huge sticking points in the Fedor/UFC negotiations was that Fedor wanted to be allowed to compete in combat sambo while under contract with he UFC, if I recall correctly. That shows us some precedent for this situation.
