Can someone explain to me shoyoroll gis

I don't get the complaining about the 4-5 month wait. Have any of you guys ever planned ahead?

I mean, you should have a stable of at least 2 gis anyway. Just order when they come around and wait on it.

Now, if you want to complain about ordering from a sketch, I get that. But I don't see why you need a gi RIGHT NOW. Patience.

And I dont see why someone would want to wait 4-5 months to buy a gi when there are so many good quality gi's available right now if you need one. It's all about personal preference, some are willing to wait and some are not.

It reminds me a lot like Apple, sell the hype and make people wait. Just like Apple, they make a good quality item that works. And also just like Apple, there are plenty of other quality items out there that will do the job, too. But let's not kid ourselves and try to convince anyone it is something else. It's your money, you earned it, and you have a right to spend it any way you want. No justification is needed:icon_chee

Def the least favourite of the Gi's I own. The pants are a horrible fit, the jacket is okay.

I personally will never buy from Shoyoroll again.

I agree with you totally. People will always shit on something they can't afford/obtain or don't understand. Their too pricey, too douchey, too flashy wahhhh wahhhh wahhhh fucking cry me a river. I work hard for my money and SYR is money well spent IMO. Next thing you know they'll be shitting on private lessons as well LOL. "Bruh why you gotta get privates and improve your game so much bruh?!?!" Dumbasses.

I am a fan of shoyoroll but douchebags like this guy are a reason so many people are turned off. What a fucking douche. Bragging that you can afford a $180 dollar gi is like bragging that you won a tournament at white belt.

The only thing worse than a shoyoroll hater is a shoyoroll elitist nuthugger like this dude.

I bought one from a friend who needed cash this past x-mas. it was brand new.

Anyhow, nothing special and the gi had some visible wear and tear (loose stitching) after the first roll. The pants fit great and I love them.

However, my blue Atama >>>>> SYR

For what Atama charges, I'd rather get a SYR. Also, the quality on Atama just isn't what it used to be.

I feel like I say this on every page, SYR is a good, solid mid-range gi that is best priced around 140-170. No more, No less.

$140 - yes
$170 - no

$140-$170 is a rather large range.

It is, but that represents what I consider to be the entire mid range of BJJ gi prices. Anything over 175 better be amazing because that's a lot for a gi considering solid basic gis are being sold around and even under $100.

I fully endorse this opinion.
