Can somebody explain that single leg takedown of Diaz in the 1st round?

I do not think I have ever seen anybody ever been taken down so easily by a single leg.

And Conor swept Diaz immediately.

Seriously people are still acting like Diaz is lightyears ahead of Conor on the ground.

cool story bro

Connor got subbed like a 12 year old white belt.

This stuff is pretty stupid, Conor was basically out on his feet, well done to Diaz on the boxing, but it really doesn't expose Conor's ground game at all 100s of better grapplers than Conor have been tapped out after being rocked.

LMAO!!!!!! HAHAHAHA Diaz was making animal balloons with one hand and choking out Conor with the other but yea, the ground game is close...

You are one salty motherfucker.
Punch a black belt in the face hard enough and he becomes a white belt.

Diaz beat Mcgregor by being an insanely gritty motherfucker and with his boxing. His jiujitsu was the cherry on the cake, but Mcgregor losing this fight had nothing to do with grappling.

You went full Rousey on Ellen.
Never go full Rousey on Ellen.

To be fair, Diaz has made a couple of good black belts look like beginners (Jim Miller, Kurt Pellegrino). Nate's a horrible match-up for anyone on the ground apart from a physical AND technical beast from top position (Currest RDS, championship Bendo, Dong Hyun Kim at 170).

When your brains getting scrambled its a smart move to shoot for a takedown. When ur facing a black belt though, thats prolly a mistake. He'll be back eventually. Hopefully not at 170. His body was not rewdy for that class at all.

Conor left his leg there so he caught it and took him down. Why wouldn't he? And neither of the Diaz brothers cares if they end up on their backs. Conor was just surviving on the ground. If you think they are even CLOSE on the ground, you're an idiot.

It had everyting to do with jiu jitsu. Conor got hit, turned in to a panic wrestler and shot. Nate passed to mount like Conor was a grappling dummy and choked him out.

Light years do not begin to measure the WIDE GAP between Diaz's ground game and mcgregor's

Yes, because a Diaz brother has never lost a fight by being taken down repeatedly lmao.

Nate Diaz vs Stevenson, RDA, DHK, Benson, Guida never happened.

Everyone was so enamoured with Conor's great striking, we all forgot he had no ground game.

Diaz beat Conor in every aspect in this fight. Cardio, movement, striking, grappling, heart, fight IQ.

One thing is for certain though... Getting Shad faced or Honda faced makes for much more humiliating memes than getting subbed. Conor dodged that bullet with Diaz. :)

Conor swept him brilliantly in the first round.

Diaz still has a far better ground game, it's not even close. But to say that easy sub at the end wasn't because conor was close to being KTFO is dishonest guys. Nate would sub him regardless but it wouldn't have been that easy.
