I know it seems paradoxical, hes one man. But i cant help but think its more than that.

I remember seeing DC against Bigfoot and having his big reveal. I remember him as an unknown coming into the strikeforce tourney and flipping bigger guys on their ass. HW DC is a fire hydrant. He is a mound, not a mountain. Wide, sturdy, almost unbreakable, powerful. I loved watching him in SF and UFC out muscling bigger guys, slamming and KOing.

At LHW however, things changed. He was no longer fat and a monster, he was fat and drained. Less powerful. His tank like nature at HW became a slothish grinder at LHW. He is less likely to finish, more prone to lay n pray, and just a weaker fighter IMO.

It might be controversial, but LHW DC IMO is a generic brand. He is at least 70% less impressive. HW DC is a dense powerhouse. A finisher and a bully smasher.

I do not root for LHW DC. I always like HW DC

Its not like he was shit at LHW, its okay to prefer him at HW and be more excited to see him at HW.

I for one would love to see him face bones at HW over Lesnar, although that would really fuck the division.

At lhw Dc finished 5 out of his 7 wins or 71%. At HW he finished 9 of 14 wins for 63%. That 6 page story you just wrote is based on bullshit.

much more well-thought out point than I expected.
plus your descriptions are on point.
HW DC = fire hydrant, mound vs mountain, sturdy, powerful, dense powerhouse, finisher, bully smasher
big fan of DC as well but yes the HW version of him seems vastly superior especially at this point in his career.
good stuff

DC is better at HW because HWs are slow and less skilled.

Yes you can but your OP is horrendous

DC at 205 was no slouch. Watch the Gus fight again, or either AJ fight

I'll take that bet.
Can't I just lie and take all your shit?
HW DC is the same fighter as the LHW that lost to juiced up Jones. Jones haters just want to pretend that the DC that Jones beat was not the best DC. DC struggles with the speed of LHWs. Thats why he looks so much better vs the slow HW division

umm so are we betting or what

I mean, I think your a little hard on DC at LHW. He's still unbeaten if you don't count the loses to Jones. I get what you're saying but I do think he's one of the best in both classes to ever step in there.
HW DC does feel like more whole fighter though, if he had gotten into MMA earlier in life he might be the undisputed HW king of MMA but father time is knocking on his door. Something about that soft body type seems to do HW's justice.

I agree in the sense that DC appears to be more effective at HW..... I think the power he carries could make all the difference against Jones if contested at HW. That should be Cormier's final HW fight..... not Brock.

I think DC is way stronger at Heavy Weight also because he’s not all drained from the brutal weight cut.

I bet he just feels better all around at Heavy Weight.

Like everyone else in UFC

DC seemed like he got out muscled by Stipe, he just seems to be a lot faster than the slow as molasses HW division.
