I know it seems paradoxical, hes one man. But i cant help but think its more than that.
I remember seeing DC against Bigfoot and having his big reveal. I remember him as an unknown coming into the strikeforce tourney and flipping bigger guys on their ass. HW DC is a fire hydrant. He is a mound, not a mountain. Wide, sturdy, almost unbreakable, powerful. I loved watching him in SF and UFC out muscling bigger guys, slamming and KOing.
At LHW however, things changed. He was no longer fat and a monster, he was fat and drained. Less powerful. His tank like nature at HW became a slothish grinder at LHW. He is less likely to finish, more prone to lay n pray, and just a weaker fighter IMO.
It might be controversial, but LHW DC IMO is a generic brand. He is at least 70% less impressive. HW DC is a dense powerhouse. A finisher and a bully smasher.
I do not root for LHW DC. I always like HW DC
