I think all three have serious failings, but the US is in the spotlight for clamping down on protest of late, and speech against the government is getting hit hard.

I've scarcely seen freedom of press attacked so rabidly in the UK or Canada. The general tone and language is that the press is actually an enemy. Threats to use and implement the Insurrection Act, attacking protesters in plain sight, politicizing law enforcement, all this kind of stuff is extremely worrying.

The fact that they started showing you the 'loss of freedoms' in Europe and the UK was really just a precursor to them doing the same thing to you.

Their collapsing buildings are from less developed regulations. Their regulations are less developed because only like 150 years ago they were a largely agrarian essentially medieval society.

When it comes to war, they can't compete with America yet, but they only benefit from war becoming more and more about manufacturing drones.

I don't know if it exactly qualifies as soft power, but Their predatory loans have been excellent for extracting resources from the world without firing any shots.

So was Switzerland but their buildings do not collapse and big cities have a proper sewage system. So was Korea, so was Japan.

Juts because Ukraine looks like that does not mean other wars will look like that.
