Government sent care packages and it was kind of sad how little food they got. It actually even caused some protests to happen. - Brazil, just like US, isnt a place friendly to engineers. They get those people, and doesnt even have to pay really hight, because the marjority of engineers here doesnt have were to work. Or you became a Uber, or go to China athleast put what you learnerd on pratice. The brain drain in the 80's gave us amazing toy-lines like Transformers, that were with engineers fround work, creating toys.
The US also seems like we're going to experience a brain drain. All the shitty policies and attacks on education and science and immigration are probably gonna drive people away.
