So I just recently joined a kickboxing gym and the beginning of class starts with 5 mins of jump roping. After my first day, I could barely extend my leg and walk. This week it isn't so bad, but my calf is pretty damn sore. Seems like I need two days rest in between classes. Am I doing something wrong or is it because I've never done this stuff? This is really frustrating dealing with the pain hehe. I sit here telling myself that after a month or two, i should develop the muscles to deal with it...so i can go in 4 days a week. Anyone else had this problem when they first began training?
