Opinion California on fire

I think dunking on the politicians in CA for this is fine but all the "the people voted for this" comments are nonsense. Nobody checked the box for "I want my house to be immolated".
Defiantly not cool to make fun of people for losing their homes. I do think it's fair to say that these unfortunate events are at least in some part due to the unintended consequences of their political beliefs.

Will you shut up? That's one of the stupidest posts I've ever seen from you or anyone on here. And that's saying a LOT.

"LA is on fire because of lesbians and all of the homeless in pacific palisades "

Karen Bass

- Cuts $20 million from Fire Department
- Homeless Budget - $1.3 Billion
- Didn't know the Fire Department ran the fire hydrants dry
Looks like they'll need to triple that homeless budget now

LA Mayor Karen Bass' outrageous claim about water supplies during fire

Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass denied that water tanks in the city had run out of water as she defended herself from backlash over the city's fire-fighting efforts.

The Democrat said during a press conference on Wednesday that 'Claims that the tanks weren't full are false,' as she blamed online misinformation for widespread frustration after fire hydrants in the city ran out of water.

- Head of Fire Department stated the DEI was her main goal... .

I'm assuming you're referring to Gavin Newsome?

LOL! Like the Klamath damn would have helped LA? Are you defending the way Trump chimed in here? Is it appropriate to act like a troll right in the middle of a crisis? I've said it before, Trump is the biggest troll in the history of the world. You speak troll fluently and you love Trump. Go figure. Do you think Trump is trying to deflect attention from his felony sentencing?

I feel for everyone, everywhere on the political spectrum who lost their homes or had to evacuate.

I feel it was a combination of awful conditions perfect for fire to spread, and awful leadership from Bass and Newsome.

Do remember that most people are good, most people don't want to see others lose their homes, pets or lives, and most don't let their political affiliation dictate how they treat others.

So.... here is the best link I have found for the LA Fires.

It's quite amazing. I zoomed into my Sister In Law / Bro In Law's place and it's not good at all.

"X" marks the spot where there home was located. I think "was", because of the fire maps and what their neighbors said. The neighbors said, "we think we saw your house on fire" or something to that effect.

Many people have talked about this very situation for years. Trump even brought it up on the Joe Rogan interview he did in October. Rogan has mentioned it before too and said it's one of the reasons he left CA for Texas after multiple forced evacuations from his home because of fires. Those in charge simply don't want to take any accountability.
You can't defeat mother nature but there is really no excuse for the utter lack of preparation. Cutting 18 million from the Fire Department budget for example and no way to handle the demand for water. Newsom claimed there was plenty of water but there was no water pressure when the demand ovewhelmed the reservoir system.
LOL! Stopped reading at "utter lack of preparation". What do you know about CalFire and their policies? What do you know about the LA fire department? How many of the hydrants were out of water?

Regardless, do you actually believe it's good leadership to Troll the governor and state right in the middle of a crisis? I know that team chip on their shoulder loves to troll California. People from the shit hole states love to imagine what Cali is like.

they fucked up big time, they can't cover their tracks on the land grab this time

Newsome's help has surely aided the Buyden/Kamala/Myorkas Southern Border and Sanctuary Cities Intentional Destruction.

As much as all USA Citizens have been harmed, some could think it was actually a designed, implemented, and working plan.

Yea but I also remember Rogan saying that he spoke to a firefighter who said eventually there is going to be a fire that burns it all down and there wont be anything they can do to stop it.

Imagine having a $60,000 property tax per year and your government can NOT supply water. Absurd

The right wing hacks went into overdrive as soon as this started. They're just using it to score any and all political points possible. The Klamath example might be the dumbest out of all of them. If only those dams 700 miles away were still there LA wouldn't have burned!
