Law California leading the way and guiding national policy in the fight against Corona

you are correct. Cali has a huge military and is already a nuclear super power. Thank you for making the point that Cali doesnt need the federal governments military

I can't even.....

They should have been more ahead of California for that reason

Possibly -- but the decay factor wasnt really known and the spread happened ridiculously quick. Its like blaming California for wildfire control, sometimes this shit just reacts faster than we do.

Nationally the US should of shutdown when this hit Europe.

as a lifelong californian, there are tons of things to shit on this state for, many of which have already been used in this thread. But by all accounts local leadership should be heavily applauded on this covid issue. I live in southern california in a county of about 900k and we have 6 deaths to covid total and like 200 positive tests. Yet we are on a pretty hard lockdown thats getting stricter by the day. Turns out taking it serious before bodies start piling up is good thing, who knew? Also read an interesting stat that of those who are tested, california has an 8% positive rate compared with a 35% positive rate in NY. Thats very promising.

Credit where credit is due. Govenor Newsom has does amazing. Would love to have a democratic governor here in Illinois like him.

Instead Prtizer uses it as an opportunity to get some headlines pointing a fat finger at Trump every chance he gets.

People are still packing into subway cars in NYC. CA closed their schools like a week before NY

Newsom>Cuomo. And it ain't even close

That dude better stay away from the Wuhan Flu. He makes Trump look like one of those dudes on American Ninja Warrior

For as much as I bash the state of California, things aren't that bad on me and my family's end.

Stores are restocked, most restaurants are still open for delivery and carryout, can still go outside and jog/walk the neighborhood.

California doesnt have a subway -- and essential workers are poor people (in this definition of essential) -- how do they get around in the most densely populated area in the US?

Im not arguing Cali didnt do a better job-- im saying the variables are very different

Seoul SK does though. And the pictures of their Subways stand in stark contrast to NYC. And there is NO way all those riders are essential. No way in hell

Central Park is still open. Meanwhile CA parks are mostly closed and have been

Don't forget that homeless people are shitting in the streets of the biggest cities there, including SF and San Diego.

Stepping in human shit. So progressive.
The Democratic leaders know what's best for the people.

Just to clarify the SF bay area gave the SIP order then the 2 counties south of them followed the day after. The people that made those decisions deserve a lot of credit.

I believe it was 3 days later governor Newsome gave the order to SIP in CA

Hello fellow CALIfornian. How does it feel being on average twice as economically prosperous when compared to the rest of the country? Doesnt it kinda feel like we have a large tumor connected to the east side of our state that we would do best to remove?

alot of mental gymnastics going on in this thread to avoid seeing the objective facts that Cali is superior to all the other states.

Enjoy your poop and homeless anecdotes. they're cute, just dont complain when Cali residents come to your state, buy all your housing for second and third homes or rental investments and take over.

So does Toronto --- and our transit is also packed. But we have less cases per capita than California.

Yeah, living in a $400,000 cottage without a yard and having to commute an hour to work sounds delightful.
