Social California changes rules for high school athletics with trans competitors

Changes need to be made somewhere. And frankly some of these college kids need to be tested anyway

What you're proposing is an exception to the rule. Everyone is not allowed to take testosterone except for trans people!

Ok how about men who have lower testosterone?

Medical exemptions are a thing, yes. And im all for non trans men getting GAC/TRT to bring their T levels to normal levels. Just don't Vitor that shit

I'm not for medical exemptions. They tried to do that in the UFC and everyone ended up just taking PED's legally claiming they were low T.

And there's no consensus on "normal levels," then the significant cost of checking to see if athletes are within normal levels. You would need to periodically surprise athletes with random checks. Not doable at all.

No PED's period is much better.

Correction, they are supposed to be for medical exemptions and the UFC did a shit job confirming medical justification and enforcing standards.

there are absolutely known standard ranges for T levels. But im open to suggestions on how to make something work. But all I keep seeing is a lack of desire to put in any effort in to find a middle ground

Seems like a thinly veiled way of saying exclude them for all competitive sports. But whatever.

Very simple - no one is allowed to do PED's.

Pretty much. All PED's users are excluded.

I'm seeing some comments pointing out that a trans-only division wouldn't have enough sign-ups. Maybe. But the conclusion is not to let them compete against women. Make a division for the trans community. If not enough people want it or will attend, they need to compete in male divisions because they're male.
