I know that Cain beat JDS twice but it could just be that he was the rock to JDS’s scissors.

JDS’s resume:
Werdum
Struve
Cro Cop
Yvel
Gonzaga
Nelson
Carwin
Cain
Mir
Hunt
Miocic
Rothwell

Cain’s resume:
Kongo
Rothwell
Big Nog
Lesnar
Bigfoot
JDS
Browne

bucket

JDS has better resume but cain beat him twice , So im gonna go with cain

jds has been more active so he has more names on the record

cain was an animal tho and came back after jds ko'd him and totally demolished him the last 2 fights in the trilogy. id say jds at his best is the 2nd best ufc hw ever behind cain, with stipe 3rd behind both of them.

Both have great resumes and possibly were cursed by both of them existing at the same time

Im a huge JDS fan but his inability to correct mistakes has been his downfall, backing up in straight lines, hanging around with back against the cage and hands down is his biggest flaw and been capitalised on repeatedly now

From Cain's last performance against Travis he looked great, athletic and determined; Junior against Rothwell looked smart, sharp and his things in order

We will see where JDS is at against relatively unknown Ivanov

I would have to say JDS

Although both are way below Miocic

JDS has better heavyweight wins than almost any other other heavyweight.

I am going to say JDS here. He has the better resume, more wins and he does have the KO win over Cain. Cain has the two dominant wins and proved he's the better fighter in the style match up, but JDS's win counts for something here when both guys were in their primes.

JDS has the better career. Prime Cain was the better fighter.

Jds has the best resume of any heavy weight, of any time.

Both below Miocic?? Maybe Cain is cause he's inactive but certainly not JDS. Both have wins over each other, both have a UD over Nelson, a TKO over Hunt, and a KO over Werdum, and a win over Gonzaga (JDS by KO, Stipe by UD). Overall thats pretty even over the same comp.

When you look at the rest its Arlovski, Overeem, Nganou for Stipe, vs Cro Cop, Carwin, Mir, Rothwell, Struve for JDS.

So JDS is not way below Stipe.
