That dude never fights regulary.

It'll be a miracle if he fights at least twice a year.

I can draw several conclusions from that. What the fuck is your point? Put a little effort in.

Not Cain fault, though. He was ready to go, but they did want to make a rematch and the champ wouldn't fight anytime soon. Then Cain got injured again.

Since 2008 Cain has had 13 fights in the ufc. Thats an average of 1.5 a year.

In that same period of time:
Cerrone fought 29 times for an average of 3.625 fights per year.

Magny has had 22 fights since 2010 when he started his mma career for an average of 3.66 fights per year.

ROy Nelson has had 20 fights since 2008 for an average of 2.5 fights per year

Reem has had 17 mma fights and 10 K1 fights since 2008 giving him an average of 3.375 fights per year.

I could go on and on. i dont want to ever hear how great CAin is or that he is the best hw ever, hes not even close. Dude never fights and when he does its against the same two guys over and over. Hes not even a top 5 hw all time imo.

I can't help but feel if he wasn't injury proponed his whole career he could have gone on a Fedor, Silva, gsp, jones kind of run at heavy weight. What could have been.

Let that sink in.

Hate to say it, but Cains career is over. He hasn't fought in a year. By the time he does fight again, who knows when. Supposed to fight Browne. The guy literally never fights. He's always injured. This is going to take away from his skills and fighting. Even if he gets back in the cage again, he will not be the same fighter. My personal belief is that whole sea level thing was crap. I think there are other things at play here.

I just watched the highlight UFC put on FB. And man, I forgot how soft Cain looked that night. He's never been shredded, sure, but he's been pretty solid in a lot of past fights. He looked soft and small against Werdum, like he was 20 pounds of muscle smaller than Fabricio, who himself is not a huge HW.

I think 2016 Cain gets smoked by most of the top 5 HW's.

It's a damn shame Cain can't stay healthy. He had a potentially incredible career derailed by injuries. Who knows what he's got left, he still may have a good run in him but it would be a shame if he doesn't.

I don't think there is much left for Cain in the HW division, in fact I would not be that surprised if Browne beats him.
