I don't know if you've ever received some devastating news or had a devastating moment in your life, but you don't think about everything like that. You can't really think much if at all, its all reaction.

1. You hurt/kill the person and you go to jail

We need much more details and facts about this all.. my gut feeling was his family was in some danger and he saw red.. rumors going around about his daughter but I don't know if its true, we need much more facts first.

Cain is a family man, he is not someone chasing women or going to nightclubs, he ain't about that, thats not him.. he is very much a family man and is super shy and quiet in person. I think there is A LOT we don't know about this case. Hopefully we will get some more clarity soon

Right now, all we know is that Cain is being held without bail for attempted murder, as per the officials.

I get that we were all fans of Cain, or supported him in one way or another - but it is very easy right now to skew the truth with one or 2 narratives...

I see people defending Cain for what he did based on assumptions of why he did it.

Might be a good time to hold out for more official information before defending "attempted murder",

Cain (allegedly) tried to murder a high schooler but ended up shooting the high schoolers father. Theres no way this does not end with him spending at least a decade if not multiple decades in prison.

Theres no defense for the type of attempted first degree murder Cain is accused of. The best case scenario is getting convicted of the lesser charge; second degree attempted murder.

I don't know American law but surely if it's without bail, it's because you're posed as a danger to society or a flight risk?

Yes, on your original charge. You are being held. After that it becomes a matter of a judge or Justice of the peace. Most defendants will be granted some form of bail. That’s not a judgement of your possible gulit. But a matter of how much you are considered to be a danger to society, or your risk of running to evade the trial process.

He will 100% be granted some kind of bail. It’s only when you’ve proven you intend to run (OJ Simpson) that bail is generally denied/revoked.

I’d hate to think a professional HW mma fighter would have to pull a gun but actually have to fire it, as well. But I don’t have enough info at this point to say more than that.
