Cadillac Records: The Story of Chess Records.

Never heard of this but it's one of my favorite labels especially love Howlin Wolf, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Solomon Burke. What a label! Thanks TS will give it a go.

Pretty entertaining movie. I watched it some time last year. Loved the Howlin Wolf character. If you like movies like this, check out Spinning Gold. Its the story of Casablanca Records label.

Another decent one is Creation Stories about the label Creation Records out of London. But this movie focuses more on the founder, Alan McGee but still worth a watch.

Unfortunately I think those days of record labels like this are over. There's a whole new way of doing business now.

My radar is always on the alert for movies like this.....ty man :):)

Practically, the story of r n r :):):)

What a band Muddy Waters had, Otis Spann on piano, Jimmy Rogers on guitar, Little Walter blowing the harmonica, Each of them big individually.

Huge blues fan here, go back to the roots of it all, those who influensed Muddy, Wolf.

Waters first recordings were right there on his front porch on the Stovall Plantation, talking 1941 a must have.

When that big car pulled up looking for him he ran and hid, thought it was the law there about his illegal moonshine biz. All started out in search of Robert Johnson not knowing he was dead.
