News Burns is going after 20-12 marijuana guy hard

Nate still makes more than Burns and Burns is fighting for an actual title. Thats all Nate was trying to point out. For a marijuana guy, he seems to have a better understanding than most when it comes to the fight game.

But its good to see Burns bring up the RDA fight purse. Nate played by the UFC rules and went on TUF and won his season. He then fought his way through the division, picking up many bonuses for FOTN along the way. When he earned his title shot, he asked to renegotiate his contract and the UFC said no. And thats how he ended up getting such a low payday for that RDA fight.

Dana constantly bashed Nate in the media claiming he wasn't a draw while simultaneously making him headline Fight nights on Fox. Nate always did great numbers.

Dana is such a vindictive bitch that at one point, he pulled Diaz from the rankings altogether after a win and 6 months inactivity.

Nate is trying to warn guys like Burns to stand up for themselves and know their worth because Dana White doesn't give a fuck about you. He cares about his shareholders. And thats it.

Problem Burns has with marijuana guy is that he ridiculed his title fight and nr.1 contender status.

Burns wins against Woodley, Maia and Gunnar are better than George wins over Till, Askren and Nate.

I don't know what nate expected. Does he think Usman will hold out until Masvidal gets the money he wants? Does he also think Burns would what for that too happen?

Every fighter is on their own. Diaz whines and holdouts for nobody but himself. And that's perfectly understandable.

Burns vs Diaz would legit be a great matchup, I can see it now Burns gets the title Nate blags a title shot against him just from trash talking and wins the belt for a Welterweight trilogy fight against Conor coming back from retirement ... shiiiit. WAR NATE!

I have to disagree with you for the first time.
Ever since Nate fought Conor, he has been bad mouthing other fighters and claiming he is just about the only one worth watching. He does not care one bit about other fighters. THIS IS A CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT.

If we judged fighters only by how much they make, MMA would become truly a sad spectacle.
What are we looking for as fans, a strike???
I want fights not popularity contest and twitter wars.

Nate needs to STFU after that azz beating he took from Jorge. They both know they can't beat the champ so they are trying to get one last big paycheck before getting further exposed.

I am sick and tired of Nate dissing other fighters in the name of insert__________.

I'm not sure he's even that. He would have to be willing to fight the up and comers to hold that position. But he's been successful. He's put in the work to build a fan base among those who actually spend money to watch fights and as a result has done very well for himself despite his record or stauts.
