I suppose it's because there's all those nooks and crannies to try and get some privacy. I guess the fault is that there's other miners that that have thought about, or have, jerked it in the same areas. If caught, you're probably catching heat from the very people that jerked off in the same mines.

I worked with this dude from Trinidad. The village he lived in had a hut for storing coconuts. He said he would sneak into the hut and jerk off when everyone was asleep. I mentioned how he could have basically done it anywhere, seeing how it was in the dead of the night. Also, it was kinda' uncool, being food storage and whatnot.
