I used to ignorantly hate all bee-likes, but I've come around to your regular honey/bumbles and cicada wasps (giant fucking horrifying teddy bears that they are). Love spiders too, I got a number of em in specific spots in my basement which I appreciate.

The compassion wasn't necessarily for them trees themselves though, haha

Cicada killer wasps are horrifying. They’re more beneficial tho cuz them cicadas are annoying af. But just your normal hornet/wasp can suck it. I don’t mess with bees. They’re fine. My backyard is full of orb weavers. Also horrifying looking but cool af. If I wasn’t such a lazy student I would’ve been an entomologist.
