PFL Bryan Battle has signed with PFL

I hope they stick him in Middleweight. That's where he belongs.

He does have some fanfare. Give him Mike Shipman or Andrew Sanchez to build up on.

EDIT: They did stick him at MW. I apparently can't read today lol.

Yes, but big difference from losing to a UFC guy that kept losing... so released from ufc, to losing to a guy cut because he had trouble making weight... in UFC eyes.
Sure, but him losing at all puts him in a terrible position so if anything he'd avoid fighting Battle (bigger guy, can crack and isn't bad on the mat) vs Jousset (very mid, despite being a Judo BB prefers to stick with a basic striking game and doesn't carry much power).

PFL hasn't had Doumbe nor Baki fight for them in over a year so I think they're just having issues with big french names they signed previously.

Looking back, Doumbe and Baki's careers coming to a screeching halt because of a splinter has to be one of the most Bellator things to ever happen.

Yeah, Doumbe won his last fight during the final Bellator even but I forgot he existed tbh. A total contrast to how much people wouldn't shut up about him back in 2023-2024.

Baki doesn't seem like someone the PFL is particularly sold on. Honestly, I don't really care if he ever comes back tbh.

I think Baki really is hoping to end up with the UFC and build a legacy there. Doumbe is the weird one since he was the mega star for their French shows and now they've iced him.

Wonder what the money situation is looking like for PFL currently.

Battle is an MW, Abduraguimov is a small WW (and he used to ask for Logan Storley)
Doesn't add up
